"Mr Schuester." Kurt raised his hand, interrupting his teacher who frowned and looked at him, "Can I sing something?"
"I-"
"And I'd like to invite someone to sing it with me." Kurt smiled, getting up to stand next to his teacher.
"Sure, okay. Go ahead, Kurt." Mr. Schuester smiled, moving to sit down.
Kurt took a deep breath, cast a quick glance towards the band and nodded, before opening his mouth and beginning to sing.
I need another story
Something to get off my chest
My life gets kinda boring
Need something that I can confessKurt shrugged at his friends, who were frowning at his lack of duet partner as he sang by himself, a small smirk plastered across his face as the chorus drew nearer.
Til' all my sleeves are stained red
From all the truth that I've said
Come by it honestly I swear
Thought you saw me wink, no
I've been on the brink, soAnother, different voice took over now and suddenly Blaine was stood up on a table, grinning widely as he watched each of the New Direction kid's heads snap towards the sound of his voice and he had to fight back a laugh as their mouths all dropped open in almost practiced synchronisation.
Tell me what you want to hear
Something that will light those ears
Sick of all the insincere
I'm gonna give all my secrets awayBlaine jumped down off the table and disappeared amidst the band members, still singing loudly. Kurt still stood in the middle of the choir room, a small smile on his face.
This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets awayBlaine leapt out between two band members and was suddenly in front of every New Directions member, who were staring at him with wide eyes. He felt his heart speed up and panic begin to rise in his chest at all of those eyes on him. He shook his head, inhaled deeply and turned to focus on Kurt, running around the boy until they were stood side by side.
My God, amazing how we got this far
It's like we're chasing all those stars
Who's driving shiny big black carsBlaine stepped forward, away from Kurt and began singing at Santana, a pit of satisfaction raging in his throat at the shocked look on her face. He knew he'd have to get the girl back somehow, she needed to learn when to keep her mouth shut. She basically outed Blaine, after all.
And everyday I see the news
All the problems that we could solve
And when a situation rises
Just write it into an album
Send it straight to gold
I don't really like my flow, no, soBlaine spun on his heels and was facing Kurt as the boy finally joined in so the pair could sing the chorus together, their voices blending beautifully exactly how they'd practiced over and over in Blaine's room last night.
Tell me what you want to hear
Something that are like those years
Sick of all the insincere
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
This time, don't need another perfect lie
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
