Alison's pov

I spy a LIAR...

- A

Whoever this bitch is, he she or it is getting under my skin already. I know what this A person is talking about, and it is so totally none of his her its damn business to meddle with.

Emily just left for swim practice when I received this message. Clearly, someone's been creeping about eavesdropping, stalking my every freakin' move. Either that or my conscience, if such a thing actually exists in me, is crawling up my spine to eat me alive and whole.

I just lied to Emily's gorgeous face.

It's an awful thing to do to her. But I guess I've always preferred stupid lies over plain simple truth...

Emily's pov

She's lying.

She has that tilt on her head and that little smirk on her face that she thinks can feign nonchalance in her appearance. But I can always see past that fake facade she puts on.

I just don't get it why she's doing this, when she knows she can tell me anything. Truth included.

Alison can really be so damn proud and stubborn, it might just get her into trouble. If she isn't in trouble already, that is. How I wish she could be more open and honest. Not just to me but herself most especially.

"Ali, what exactly happened? You were the one who's most excited about the party and you were the first to leave... It is so not like you to leave one hell of a party so soon,"

"I already told you Em... my mom called freaking out about Jason being pissed drunk again in our couch, I had to get back home to help her," Alison said a little too nonchalantly with that signature tilt of her head.

"You couldn't care less whatever happens to Jason since the dawn of time, why bother now?"

"It's my mother I'm trying to help. Jason's a thousand pound heavy and mom can't drag him to his room on her own, okay... plus I need to get mom on my good side, so she'll get me those Fifth Harmony live show tickets,"

"You're never a fan of Fifth Harmony, heck you didn't even know about x factor until Hanna told you about it," I kept on countering her excuses so I can finally dig out the truth behind her bogus story.

"Well I am now," Ali shrugged, "plus one of the members got my middle name so yeah... they're cute, I like them now. Especially that Lauren gal, don't you think?"

"She's cute alright, but you're side tracking me... I know something else happened at that frat party to make you leave,"

"Jason happened... That's what, Em..." she smirked.

"Uh-huh..." I stared at her long enough to drill holes on that smirking pretty face of hers. But not long enough for me to appreciate that insanely angelic features.
