Lucas } i know it's getting a little late but i want to talk to you about something personal
Me } okay, sure. you can always talk to me Lucas.
Lucas } i don't want to trigger anything from the past but i want to know more about you.
Me } okay.. what is there that you want to know?
Lucas } tell me about your past relationships?
i sat there quietly for a minute until i was ready to touch that subject and bring up those memories and emotions back.
Me } if i can describe them in one word, it would be "nightmares".. i've been abused physically and mentally. i'm always the one putting 100% effort into the relationship.. i've been played, used, hurt, cheated on so many times that i started having really bad trust issues every time i started to date again.. i've been a "dare" a couple of times..
Lucas } oh my god. i'm so sorry you went through all that. if anything, i've also been used, hurt and cheated on by girls. i also had trust issues and i'm usually the one putting 100% effort too..
Me } why would anyone want to do you like that?! if anything, they should be glad, happy, blessed even, to have you as their boyfriend! i know i would.
Lucas } really?
Me } of course! you're like.. perfect Lucas.
Lucas } i can say the same about you.
we smiled at each other for a while. Marcus came in.
Marcus } you guys ready to go to bed?
Me } yes, i'm pretty tired.
Lucas } me too.
we all said goodnight and fell asleep.
• Next Morning •
i woke up and again, i was the only one in the room. i checked my phone and had a text from Lucas. he texted me saying he went out for breakfast with his brothers and that their parents left to the family Gymnastics Gym.

Lucas } i need your guys help with something
Cyrus } sure bro, what is it?
Lucas } i want to ask Alani to be my girlfriend
Marcus } well first, are you ready?
Lucas } i am. i'm nervous though.
Darius } i would be too. she's one beautiful girl Lucas.
Lucas } i know and this is going to sound totally cheesy but i want to be with her forever.
Cyrus } wow. she must be really special
Marcus } you have NO idea
Lucas } haha yeah, she really is.
Darius } what do you need help with?
Lucas } i want to ask her in a really cute way.
Marcus } when do you want to ask her?
Lucas } later on in the day
Cyrus } be simple. don't go too crazy.
Darius } i agree. how about some flowers and her favorite food and sneak in a secret note
Marcus } i like that.
Lucas } i do too. okay guys i'm ready.

• Back to my POV •
i've been in bed ever since i woke up. i don't know what it is but i woke up feeling like doing nothing today. i feel depressed for no reason. just simply want nothing to do with anyone today. after two hours of being home alone, Lucas and his brothers came home. i heard the front door open and Marcus shouted my name out but had no energy to get up and respond so i stayed in bed. I heard someone coming up and Marcus came in.
Marcus } hey, i was calling you. are you okay? i didn't say anything, i just nodded my head.. Marcus then closed the door and sat on the bed.
Marcus } talk to me. what's going on?
Me } i just don't feel like myself today. i feel depressed.
Marcus } come down, have something to eat.
Me } i don't feel like eating.
Marcus } you have to eat. come downstairs and chill with us.
Me } i don't really feel like seeing or talking to anyone today.
Marcus } i'll leave you alone. i'll let everyone to give you your space right now. when you're ready, we'll be downstairs.
Me } thank you Marcus. if Lucas ever needs anything from in here. don't let him come in here. say you'll get it for him. i don't want him to see me like this.
Marcus } okay, i'll let him know.
Marcus had left the room and i was alone once again.
• Dobre Brothers POV / Convo. •
Marcus } hey guys, i need to tell you something
Cyrus } what is it?
Marcus } Alani isn't feeling like herself today. she doesn't want anyone to go into the room right now. she wants some time alone
Lucas } i have to talk to her
Darius } Lucas, No. let her be alone right now, she'll come around when she's ready
Cyrus } yeah i agree. maybe if she comes around by tonight you can ask her your big question.
Marcus } that's right! if she comes around soon, that'll mean she'll feel a little better.
Lucas } and if i ask her, it'll probably make her day better
Cyrus } well what are we doing then, let's go get some flowers Lucas.
• My POV •
i heard the front door open and close. i think they left again. i might as well use the restroom while i'm alone for now. i came back into the room and few hours past by and i started to feel a little better, enough to go downstairs and be around people. i heard the brothers walk in but i still don't hear their parents. i heard a lot of whispering going on downstairs so i decided to put a big sweater and some shorts underneath with high knee socks and walk down downstairs. they heard me coming down and they stopped talking. i thought it was strange so i made my way to the kitchen. before i even step a foot into the kitchen, Marcus asked..
Marcus } hey, how are you feeling?
Me } i'm feeling a little bit better. thank you for letting me have my time alone to process things.
Cyrus } you're welcome, if you ever need anyone to talk too, we're always here.
Lucas } i'm glad you're okay.
Me } thank you.
i was still a little depressed to even eat so i just sat down in the living room with the guys. i sat on the smaller couch and they all sat with each other on the bigger couch. everyone was silence and on their phones.
Lucas } you haven't came down to eat all day, are you hungry?
Me } i'd be lying if i said no.
everyone looked up and started to smile and record. i thought it was weird because why would they record us? Lucas then grabbed my hand and walked me to the kitchen.
Lucas } i thought you'd be hungry. we went out for sushi and brought you back a platter of different types of sushi.
Me } aww, you guys didn't have too. thank you guys.
Marcus , Cyrus and Darius stood up to record from a different angle. at this point i was weird out because i didn't know what was going on.
Lucas } are you going to eat?
Me } yeah, i guess.
Lucas then opened the platter and there was a lot underneath all the sushi rolls.
Me } what is that?
i started to move the rolls onto the platters lid and i stared at the note.. Lucas came in with a bouquet of roses and sunflowers. i began to cry..
Me } Lucas.. what is this? what are you doing?
Lucas } i know we haven't know each other for that long but i seriously feel i've known you my entire life. i always feel a spark whenever you're in the same room as me. every time i see you, i have to hold myself back because of how much i want to kiss you. there's something about you that make me feel complete. i've never felt anything like this for a girl. so Alani.. would you be my girlfriend?

his brother started to cheer and clap for us. i was completely speechless..
