it's 7:45 pm and we all finished getting ready. the guys were waiting for me in the living room. i thought about wearing the same dress i wore when Lucas and I had a night planned, but it would've just brought up bad memories so i decided to go with a new dress. a tight, black velvet dress with red roses on it and i wore red heels. i had to check the weather for tonight and it's cold outside so i had to add a black see-through cardigan that stopped a little above my ankles. i walked out into the living room and everyone looked so nice.
Me } aww, you guys look so handsome.
Lucas } and you look gorgeous as always.
Me } thank you
Lucas } hold on, let me change something
Me } what does he mean by that?
Cyrus } i don't know
Lucas } okay there
Me } aww, you went from the black bow tie to a red one.
Darius } how cute
Marcus } and i thought we were going as twins
Lucas } Marcus. we are going as twins. we look alike and we're wearing the same thing. a different color tie isn't going to hurt anyone.
Me } either way, you guys still look handsome. let's get going
Cyrus } you didn't make any reservations right?
Me } no why?
Cyrus } okay good, i got us reservations at a very nice restaurant
Me } you didn't have to do that.
Cyrus } i know, but i want too. it's a special night.
Me } yes it is. anyways let's get going.
we all walked down to the uber. it was a 20 min drive to the restaurant. it's so nice. i've never been to a restaurant that was this fancy. we got our table and sat down.
Me } omg Cyrus. this place is amazing. you didn't have to go all out tonight.
Cyrus } trust me, i did.
at this point, i know something is up but i don't know what it is. everyone is in a very good mood and i noticed Lucas can't stop smiling. we ordered our food. i whispered to Darius..
Me } what's going on?
Darius } what do you mean?
Me } why is everyone acting weird all of a sudden.
Darius } really? i haven't noticed.
Me } it's making me nervous
Darius } don't be, everything is fine.

our food came after 30 mins. everything looked and smelled so good. we all ate. i felt a weird vibe. i just feel like something is off and it's frustrating me because i don't know what it is. there's a lot of people in this restaurant and i felt like every single person was look at me. i felt like i was going to lose it. we somehow managed to finish our food under 30 mins. it was a lot of food.
Me } here, let me pay.
Cyrus } no it's fine, we got it.
Lucas } can we make a toast before we leave?
Marcus } yeah
Lucas got up and somehow got everyone's attention.
Me } Lucas.. what are you doing..?

i honestly started to cry..
Lucas } where do i even begin.. you are the most amazing, gorgeous and outgoing girl i've ever met. you make me go insane when you're in the same room as me. i always look forward on talking to you. i can never get tired of you. you brought out a different side of me that i've never seen before. every time i see you or even hear your voice, my heart skips a beat..
i stand up to catch a breath and process everything that's going on. Lucas gets on one knee and his brothers start to record..
Me } OMG Lucas....
Lucas } 6 months ago, i saw you sitting on the plane and told myself to sit next to you.. i've been in love with you ever since. you make me happy and i never want to let you go.

he opened up the box and i saw the ring. i thought i was dreaming. i was lost for words, i started to cry so much more. i could barely even speak.
Me } YES
Lucas placed the ring on my finger. everyone clapped.. i looked up at Lucas and kissed him.
Me } i love you.
Lucas } that's all i've been waiting for. i love you too.
i looked over at his brothers and they were crying as well. i hugged them one by one.
Cyrus } congratulations. i'm happy for the both of you.

Darius } this will forever be my favorite fairytale. the story is just starting. congratulations future sister in law.

Marcus } i don't see anyone else in my twins life or future. he really loves you, thank you for looking after my bestfriend.. i've never seen him this happy. thank you.
Me } no, thank you Marcus. if it wasn't for you, we all wouldn't be standing here right now and this wouldn't happen. thank you for bringing him.
Darius } lets head out..
we got back to my apartment and i was still in full shock.
Me } i'm tired

Lucas } i guess i'm the only one that not tired.
Me } lets all change out of these clothes and call it a night?
Marcus } sounds perfect to me.
we all got ready for bed.
Me } you guys are probably thinking "how are we supposed to fit on this couch?".

Me } this is actually a 3 bedroom apartment guys
Cyrus } wait really?
Me } yes, come. i'll show you guys your rooms..
okay so you now know, my room is at the end of the hallway. so across from my room is the second bedroom. it's the same as mine, there's a 45" in. tv with a xbox one as well. you can get any game from the living room. a king size bed, bathroom and walk-in closet as well. at the opposite end of the hallway is the third bedroom. again, same thing. 45" in. tv with the xbox, king size bed, bathroom and walk-in closet. the tvs have netflix already installed and my account is logged in. if you want to watch something just add a new pro life for yourself. you guys can figure out who gets what room.
Marcus } i usually share a bedroom with Lucas but since you guys are engage now, he's going to be sleeping with you.
Me } you guys we'll be sharing on those nights Lucas decides to act bad.
Marcus } you better be careful.
Cyrus } Dari and I will take the third bedroom. Marcus, you can take the second bedroom.
Marcus } okay
Me } okay, let me show you where i keep the clean sheets, pillows and blankets.
Lucas } i love how organized you are.
Me } i love being clean and organized. sometimes i like to clean for fun.
Cyrus } i hope there's another Alani out there.
Lucas } sorry, she's one of a kind and she's mine.
we all laughed. Lucas is too cute. i love him so much.
Me } okay, this is the laundry room. in this closet i keep all the clean sheets, blankets and pillows. the pillows are new. no one has used them.
Darius } you have a lot of pillows
Me } i like pillows even though i can't sleep with pillows. i have to throw them on the floor.  i'm weird.
Lucas } but it's cute
Me } the pillows are different. some people like really soft pillows and some people like pillows where they're not too soft or hard but in between and there's some other ones. you guys can test them through the plastic and see what you guys prefer. Lucas, you can get one as well. i only have like one pillow on my bed.
Lucas } okay babe
Darius } i really like this one. it's like a marshmallow. i place my head on it and it comes right back up when i lift up my head
Me } yeah, that's my favorite. i'm usually that one right now.
Marcus } i got the same one.
Lucas } me too
Cyrus } me three.
Me } good thing i have a lot of those.. okay, so for sheets and blankets. the top shelf is white sheets. second shelf is grey sheets and third one is black. they all come with 3 sheets and 2 pillow cases. the softer sheet goes on top of the other two. you can use it as a blanket if you want.
Darius } i'm thinking black, how about you?
Cyrus } i was thinking the same
Marcus } i'm going with grey
Me } we need to change our sheets too. pick a color.
Lucas } let's go with white
Me } okay, so this closet is just blankets. they're all different sizes, either thin or thick. and i have a lot of colors and designs. i guess i like blankets too.
Cyrus } i'm going with this grey one
Darius } i'll get this black one.
Marcus } i'm going with all grey
Lucas } i like this burgundy one
Me } my favorite color.
okay, you guys are set. Marcus you're going to have a extra pillow case. if you don't want it, just come back and put it in this drawer. whenever you guys need change out the sheets, pillow cases and blankets, place them in their piles and i'll wash them.
Darius } got it, thanks Alani.
Me } you guys don't have to thank me. think of it as your second home.
i locked the front door and we all went to our rooms and got settled in. it was 11:30 pm. we all stood outside our doors to say goodnight.
