it's the first of August now. which mean birthdays. Darius' birthday is tomorrow and mine is not until another 3 weeks.
Me } who's home right now?
Cyrus } the twins and us, why?
Me } okay perfect. im going to use the bathroom really quick. can you eat the twins to come out here. i want to talk to you guys
Cyrus } okay

Marcus } you wanted to talk to us?
Me } yes, so Darius' birthday is tomorrow? do you guys have anything planned?
Lucas } Marcus and I were actually just talking about it. we can't come up with something.
Cyrus } yeah i can't either
Marcus } all i know is that i want it to be special
Cyrus } something he'll always cherish
Me } ever thought about getting him his dream car?
Cyrus } omg, that's a great idea!
Marcus } Lucas, your girl never fails
Lucas } i got the best fiancé
Cyrus } he's always wanted a Lamborghini Hurucan
Marcus } i say we go to the dealership tomorrow morning
Lucas } Alani can stay here and tell us when he woke up or something
Me } i'll cook him birthday breakfast

Me } okay, then it's settle.
Marcus } okay. so first thing, we'll go to the dealership tomorrow morning.

Dari came back and we went completely silence.
Darius } what are you guys up too?
Cyrus } nothing, where were you?
Darius } i went for a walk, then grabbed something to eat
Lucas } what do you want to do for your birthday tomorrow?
Darius } i don't know, we can celebrate by going out to eat?
Me } i mean if that's what you want, we can totally do that
Darius } i really don't care. i mean that's what we always do anyways.
Marcus } well whatever you want to do is fine with us
Darius } we can go out to eat i guess
we all looked at each other. something was up with Dari. he's never been like this before
Cyrus } okay
Dari walked to his room and we started talking
Marcus } i feel like something is up
Me } okay good. i thought i was the only one that noticed
Marcus } guys, he seems upset
Lucas } should we go and talk to him?
Me } why don't you let me go talk to him?
Cyrus } yeah, go find out what's wrong
i went to his room and knocked on the door.
Me } hey Dari, can i come in?
Darius } yeah. what's up?
Me } i just wanted to see how you're doing?
Darius } i'm doing well
Me } are you now?
Darius } yes. why?
Me } i feel like you're lying.. are you?
Darius } i don't know Alani. i like to think that i'm okay but i'm really not.
Me } what's wrong?
Darius } i just feel like staying home for my birthday. i don't really feel like celebrating this year
Me } how come?
Darius } i don't know. i think it's just stage in life i'm going through right now. nothing serious. i don't want you guys to think i'm depressed like out of no where
Me } it's okay to not be okay Dari. we all have our days where we feel like doing not. and if that's what you're going through right now, it's okay. you know we won't judge. we're all family now. family sticks together through thick and thin but never blame or bring yourself down for feeling depressed. it's normal, it'll eventually go away. keep yourself busy. don't think about it 24/7
Darius } thanks little sis. i really needed to talk to someone and have someone tell me they care. i don't know what's going on to be honest.
Me } we all care about you Dari. we also love you and if you want to stay home tomorrow, we understand. we can order food and we can eat here. it's all up to you okay?
Darius } i think i want to stay home. we can watch something on netflix and order food.
Me } whatever you want, we're always happy to join you on your big day. do you want me to tell they guys for you?
Darius } can you? i just need some time to think and rest right now.
Me } okay, i'll let them know. get some rest. i'll talk to you later
Darius } thanks Alani
Me } you're welcome, you can always talk to me or any of us to be honest.
i left the room and walked towards the guys.
Marcus } long talk.. is he okay?
Me } i asked if he was okay and he said yes but i knew off the bat he was lying. he said he thinks he's just going through a stage right now. he doesn't want us to worry. i talked to him about how it's okay to not feel okay. i mentioned how we all have our days where we feel like doing nothing. i told him that we're all family now. we support each other through thick and thin.
Cyrus } i know Dari. he's a strong, independent guy. he'll get over it.
Lucas } what if he doesn't? what if it just gets worse?
Me } we'll support him. we'll help him get through whatever it is he's going through.
Marcus } did he say what he wanted to do tomorrow?
Me } he said he wants to stay home, order in and watch some movies together. he just needs some time to think and rest right now.
Marcus } okay, either way our plan works out.
Lucas } let's go out for lunch guys. i'm starving
Me } sushi?
Cyrus } i'm down for some sushi
Marcus } me too
Me } anyone want to drive?

we left the apartment and went to a popular sushi place and i saw a lot of people running to the front of the place once we all got out of the car.. i realized i should've told Lucas what i do as a career.
Lucas } babe, why are all these looking and taking pictures of you? 
Me } they're not. they're taking pictures of you guys. you have a lot of fans here in LA
before we walked in, i saw a girl with a magazine and it was opened to my page. i quickly got in the way so Lucas won't see it. we walked in and i asked for a table towards the back. we all order our food and drinks and we ate. i took my time eating because i saw that there was people standing outside still.
Marcus } are you okay?
Me } yes, why?
Marcus } you been quiet since we sat down
Me } i was just thinking
Lucas } what about?
Me } i was thinking on what to cook Dari for breakfast tomorrow. i got it all down though
Lucas } oh okay. well are you ready to go now?
Me } yeah
we walked outside and i made my way to the car. i didn't stop. we got home and i sat down on the couch. i went on twitter and i saw a lot of tweets from supporters and some reporters that were there.

there's some people who are upset and i understand. i usually stop to talk to them and take pictures. some people understand that i need my personal and private space. i felt the need to tweet and clear the air. i wrote in my notes because there's a limit on twitter

after 5 minutes of tweeting, people were so supportive. i saw a lot of people saying to take some time for myself but i know that's not what i needed. what i needed is to come out to the guys and tell them the true.

Me } im more than okay. i'm going to check up on Dari
i went to his room and knocked on the door

Darius } you can come in
Me } seems like you're feeling better
Darius } yeah. i just needed some rest. how are you?
Me } i'm okay
Darius } did something happen?
Me } yeah, nothing serious though.
Darius } you want to talk about it?
Me } i actually do. just don't mention it to any of your brothers please.
Darius } you have my word.
Me } so after i left Maryland, i came here. i lived with my older sister for a while. one day, i got an email from my manager. i was given a opportunity to model for Calvin Klein. i accepted and ever since that, i've been in magazines and a lot of designers and famous modeling agencies wanted to book me for a shoot.
Darius } hold up... so you're saying that you model for Calvin Klein?
Me } yeah
Darius } dude what the heck. that's always been our dream.
Me } wait, really?
Darius } yes. Lucas and Marcus always wanted to model for them. do you have anything booked this month?
Me } yeah, i have a shoot on the 27th. i have to leave on my birthday.
Darius } you haven't told Lucas?
Me } no, you're the only one.
Darius } well you're secret is safe with me. i'll let you tell them when you're ready. there's no doubt Lucas or any of them finds out by social media or magazines.
Me } yeah i know.
Darius } let's go to the living room and chill with the rest of them.
Me } okay
we headed to the living room. it felt better to talk about it with someone.
Cyrus } hey Dari. feeling better?
Darius } yeah, thanks bro. where'd you guys go for lunch?
Marcus } some popular sushi place
Lucas } yeah, it was pretty good
Darius } man, if only i was up.

Marcus } i don't know
Lucas } how about we just chill and watch movies. we can all wear onesies or something
Me } i'm so down for that. good thing i have my onesie with me
Marcus } we all have onesies too.
Me } well it's getting dark, should we just put them on now?
Marcus } yeah
we all went to get dressed. we all came out as different characters. it's was funny but cute
Me } let's get some snacks and watch movies.
we got a bunch of snack and all gathered on the couch. we watched a lot of movies. from comedies, action, horror and Disney movies.
Lucas whispered
Lucas } there's one minute until Darius' birthday. we all looked at each other we automatically taught the same thing. finally, it was 12 am. we all screamed.
A, L, M & C } HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARI!!!
you can tell Darius got scared because he wasn't expecting it. he was surprised. we all packed ourselves on top of him.
Darius } wow, now that was a surprise. thanks guys.
Marcus } we all hope you have the best birthday
Darius } so far, it's great. let's all head to bed now.
we all headed to bed. i fell asleep so quick. i'm pretty sure everyone else did too. we have a long morning tomorrow.
