Lucas } I agree. It's... Cute. *then had a cute smirk on his face*
Me } thank you *i said following with a small giggle at the end*
Lucas & Marcus } you're welcome
i thought it was cute since they said it at the same time so i smiled then i let out a cute little giggle again
Lucas } that was cute
i looked at him and smiled and asked myself "is he hitting on me?". I was getting tired and it's only been 30 minutes into the 5 hour flight.
Me } hey guys. i'm getting pretty tired, do you guys mind if i take a nap?
Marcus } of course not. i was thinking the same actually.
Lucas } while you guys nap, i'll be up thinking about new ideas for our new video on Sunday.
Marcus } Alright
Me } goodnight guys
Lucas & Marcus } goodnight Alani
• couple of hours later•
Lucas } hey Alani, we're about to land.
Me } oh okay. thank you for waking me up
Lucas } no problem *he said as he looked at my lips*
we all got of the plane and went our separate ways. all i thought about is that i won't get to see them again.
Marcus } we made it before 12 am
Lucas } i know
i looked at my phone and it was true. also there was 20 mins before my birthday. i was waiting for my luggage. In the meantime, i thought i would call the hotel to make sure if everything was still right with my room booking. the other line started to ring and the front desk answered.
Front Desk } Hello
Me } Hi, my name is Alani. I was wondering if my room is still booked.
Front Desk } Let me just check
Me } okay
Front Desk } I'm sorry. We don't have anything booked under the name of "Alani"
Me } There must be a mistake. i called last week to make a reservation for a single bed for a whole week.
Lucas and Marcus were standing behind me and overheard my conversation and noticed i was upset.
Front Desk } i'm sorry. it's not showing up on the screen and unfortunately we have no openings.
Me } it's okay, thank you.
i hang up and i thought about what i'm going to do. i'm tired, it's almost 12 am and i have to find out where i'm going to stay for the night.
•Lucas and Marcus come up to me•
Marcus } hey. are you okay?
Lucas } you sounded upset?
Me } umm yeah.. unfortunately i have no where to stay tonight.
Marcus } hey, i know we don't really know each other but i can call my parents and see if you can stay with us for a couple nights.
Lucas looks at Marcus then looks at me and smiles.
little do they know, i do know them. i follow them on every social media platform.
Me } it's okay. you guys don't have to.
Lucas } we're not going to let you stay on the streets.
Marcus } of course not. i'm going to call my parents and let them know what's going on.
Marcus walks away as he's talking to his parents
Me } well it's 12 am and it's officially my birthday now.
Lucas } No way. Happy Birthday!
Me } thank you!
Lucas } how old are you turning?
Me } barely 17.
Lucas } wow, you're still a baby. it's cute though.
i smiled and said thanks. Marcus comes back.
Marcus } Guess who's staying over at The Dobre House?
Lucas } No way, really?
Me } seriously?
Marcus } yes. now come on guys. Dari is almost here.
i got nervous. i can't believe i'm meeting another Dobre brother and in a couple of minutes, i'll be meeting Cyrus and the parents.

Marcus gets a call from Darius.
Marcus } Are you here yet?
okay, we're on our way.
he hangs up and we make our way to the car... Darius gets out of the car to help the twins with the luggage and greets them.
Darius } Hey Guys. How was the flight?
Lucas } long. i'm so tired.
Marcus } yeah, same.
Dari looks at me and smiles
Darius } so this must be Alani?
Me } yes. it's nice to meet you.
Darius } nice to meet you too.
i bet you guys are tired right now. i know i am, so let's head home.
We all enter the car and the polite person that Lucas is, he makes sure i go in first and follows me to the back seat and Marcus sits up front.
Darius } alright guys, let's go home.
•20 mins later we arrived to the house•
Lucas } don't be nervous. our mom and dad are the nicest and coolest parents ever.
we all get out of the car and walk up to the front door. before we step into the house, we remove our shoes. their parents we're waiting for us to get home before they go to sleep. i thought it was cute. Lucas and Marcus walk into the kitchen first and greet their parents. i walked behind them and Dari walked behind me. i was so nervous.
Lucas } Mom, this is Alani. We met her on the plane. we sat together.
