The noise was unbearable. He got pushed and slid to the sidewalk. Without a second thought, he turned to see Chase. She was faced down on the ground. He couldn't move. His left leg was sprain. His right arm was broken. He couldn't scream. He knew no one could hear him. He watched her blood flowing out from her body. The medics came with the ambulances.
"Clear! No pulse!"
This action was repeated five times.
"She's gone. Time of death. 11:13."
Fetcher woke up panting hard, a month after the accident.
"Fetch?" Reign called, knocking on the door, "Are you up? It's seven twenty already!"
"Yes, I'm up." he yawned, "Would you prepare a cup of coffee for me, please? Thank you."

Fetcher dropped the kids at school. It was convenient that Cameron and Reign both went to the same high school. After that, he went to visit Chase in the hospital.
"Morning partner," Buchanan blocked the entrance of the hospital, "Turn around please. We've got an interesting case to solve."
Fetcher tried to get by aside her but she was an expert of blocking, "Move aside, Detective. This is my morning routine."
Buchanan smiled wide, "You can try to outrun a wolf."
Fetcher chuckled pushed her aside forcefully, "Yeah, right. You're a wolf, not The Flash."
Once he stepped into the hospital, he felt something digging into his right arm. His arm had just recovered.
Buchanan's fingernails dug into his flesh, "Not so fast, Prince." She gritted her teeth like what she truly was, a wolf, "We've got a case!"
Fetcher yelped, "Fine! Fine! But get your hand off me! It hurts!"
"My apologies." she replied with a hint of laughter in her tone.

The body was hung up in a warehouse. Both hands and feet were tied up, making the body expose in the air.
"How beautiful!"
Donnter exclaimed as he walked into the warehouse, Fetcher and Buchanan following behind.
It was a male victim. His body was transparent like a perfect biology model. The internals, the veins, and the bones were well shown.
"Wow, he really looks like the new Spidey I got yesterday!"
Fetcher didn't know what to say. He didn't know how anyone could do this. It was like God's work. He felt Buchanan tensed beside him.
"I can see the Milky Way in him." Jane murmured.
"There's no wound on his skin!" Art yelled from the ladder, "Uh...his skin? Umm...could we get him down, Doc?"
"Sure," Cedric said, "Would you get him down please, Officer?"
As the officer walked to the control panel, Buchanan caught Fetcher's hand and led him out of the warehouse.
"What?" Fetcher sounded annoyed, but soon he knew what.
The officer pulled down the bar. The pressure of the chain somehow was too much. Within a blink of an eye, Buchanan took Fetcher away from the entrance while inside the warehouse were screaming voices.
They walked back to the entrance. The scene was horrifying. There was blood everywhere, on Doctor, Art, Jane, Donnter, and anyone who didn't get out in time.
