Epilogue
[7 Years Later]
We stood in the doorstep of the following reception.
“Introducing the new, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Anderson!” The Dj yelled into the microphone.
Kyle beamed, placing his hand on the small of my back, leading me into our wedding reception. I spotted Olivia in the bright green bridesmaid dress we both picked out since she was my maid of honor.
My dress, however, was feathery from the bust down to the floor, and has a foot long train. White glitter spreads all around the breast area, and my dress has a belt of pearls.
Kyle’s tie was green, just like all the other groomsmen. Marcus was the best man, as well as our best guy friend. We’ve grown up, and matured from the drama. I’ve been with Kyle for seven years since senior year, and I am twenty-four officially of today. The park, where our dream wedding was held, had only on an opening of April 4th. My birthday. Someday I won’t want to celebrate the older I’m getting, but I’ll always want to celebrate the new anniversary of me and my newly wedded husband, Kyle.
As my first slow dance with Kyle stopped, I danced with my father, and so on; until Marcus asked for a slow dance. I leant my head on his shoulder.
“So, how is Gillian?” I asked him, whispering in his ear.
“Well, she’s here today.”
“Oh great! I’ll have to say hey later.”
“… And she’s three months pregnant.” Marcus continued, smiling.
“Congratulations! So I heard you proposed,” Marcus nodded. “That’s nice.”
It was silence between us for a moment before I broke it. “You know, I’m glad you cheated on me, Marcus. I really am. Then Kyle would’ve never dragged me to that old beach house. We fell in love there.” Marcus shook his head, and pushed a strand of hair from my face.
“I could tell you both have always loved each other.” He simply smiled, but then walked away. I stood there shocked, but smiling.

After we cut the cake, Kyle took me to the middle of the dance floor to slow dance again. “I love you, Mrs. Kyle McKenzie Anderson.” Kyle whispered in my ear. I giggled, knowing how I am officially his wife.
“I love you too. Now let’s go make a family together.” I said.
Kyle chuckled, and grabbed my hands, kissing them both. “Together.”
The End. <3
