Alison's POV
Harry texted me 30 minutes ago, telling me to dress casual and that he'll pick me up at 8.
I decided to dress in denim short shorts, a peach tank top, and also my pink thong sandals. I put on minimum makeup that consisted of mascara, blush, and lip gloss.
I sighed when I looked at the time and saw it was 7:30. Since I have 30 minutes to kill I decided I'll watch Family Guy since nothing else is on.
I get up off the couch when I hear someone knocking on my door. When I open the door, Harry is standing there in his usual attire. He's sporting dark skinny jeans, boots and a black t-shirt with a leather jacket.
"Are you ready to go?" Harry questions.
I nod and go back into the living room to turn off the T.V and grab my house keys and my phone.
When I get outside I lock the door and go over to the passenger side. Harry is already standing next to it the door with the door already open for me and he shuts it after I get in. He quickly jogs to the other side and gets in, starting the car quickly and taking off down the road.
"So, where are we going?" I question after a few minutes of him driving.
"It's a surprise," He smiles, looking at me real fast but quickly looking back at the road, again. I really hate surprises. The rest of the drive was quiet besides the low music coming from the radio.
After about 10 more minutes of driving Harry parks and we get out of the car. Harry opens up my door for me and shuts it, quickly going to the trunk and getting something from it. He pulls out a basket and blanket, shutting the trunk and we make our way to the dock.
I notice that we are at the same field that we were when Aaron and I went to the movies and Harry showed up and made me go with him. I didn't notice before that there was a dock and a lake, making it look even more beautiful and mesmerizing.
The wind is kind of cold and I mentally regret not bringing a jacket. Harry notices me shivering and takes off his jacket, handing it to me. I put it on and instantly get a whiff of his scent, mint and cologne.
"So, what did you bring?" I ask when we sit down on the dock.
"I brought peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with some potato chips and water" He smiles, opening up the basket and handing me some food and water.
"Wow. I wish I knew how to make sandwiches." I lightly laugh, teasing him.
"Actually, I'm quite a good cook I just didn't know what would be good for a picnic." He smiles, taking a bite of his sandwich.
"Well, you will just have to cook for me sometime then." I smirk, taking a bite of my own sandwich. "Okay, this is actually pretty good." I admit, popping a chip in my mouth.
"I try," He smirks.
When we finish eating we just lay on the dock, looking up at the starry sky. It really is beautiful.
"Get up." Harry snaps me out of my mesmerizing gaze at the stars.
I get up, raising my eyebrows at him.
"Now what?" I ask
"Take your clothes off." He smirks, causing me to slap him in the arm.
"What? No, Harry. I'm not taking my clothes off." I argue. Why does he want me to take my clothes off?
"Okay then your gonna get your clothes wet."
"How am I goin-" I stop mid-sentence, knowing what he means.
"No, absolutely not Harry." I step back, crossing my arms over my chest.
He smirks, taking a step closer to me, making me take one back.
"Okay, fine" I give in, not wanting to fall in the lake.
When I lift my shirt over my head I mentally slap myself for not wearing my good bra and underwear. Harry has his clothes in a pile and is already in the water by the time I get done taking my clothes off.
"Hurry up," He whines, making me laugh due to his childish behavior.
"Okay hold on." I told him
I walked back and little bit and started to run full speed into the water, making a big splash. When I surfaced, Harry was wiping his eyes because of the big splash I made.
"That was impressive," He smirked, swimming closer to me.
"I try," I smirked back, repeating his words from earlier, causing him to laugh.
I stared at him while he laughed. He looked so perfect. His eyes scrunch up at the sides and his dimples are on full view, making me want to poke them, and his smile is wide, exposing his white teeth. The site reminded me of the first day when I saw him, laughing with Liam, then he flipped me off.
I got snapped out of my gaze when he splashed me. I gasped and splashed him back. After 2 minutes of us splashing back and forth we called a truce. After the water died down from all the waves we made, I noticed how close we were. We were both looking into each others eyes, getting closer.
Harry and I were so close I could feel his breath on my face. We started leaning in until....
"No, I can't." Harry blurted, swimming away from me and went back on the dock. I stayed there for a moment, pondering over what just happened.
Did I do something wrong?
Does my breath smell weird?
Does he not like me like that?
I pushed all the questions from my mind and swam back to the dock, pulling myself up and covering myself with a towel Harry placed next to my clothes.
"Are you okay?" I asked Harry after awhile of us just sitting here.
"Yeah"
I decided not to question him further, obviously he doesn't want to talk about it.
"Okay, so I have to tell you something..." Harry blurted.
"Okay, what is it?" I ushered him to continue talking.
"You're probably not going to believe me," He went on
"What is it, Harry?" I was starting to get a little bit impatient
"Well...."
