Temper Stall

Sometimes I want to scream

Throw glasses at the wall

Hate to pick up glass shards

So temper must be stalled

Work off the frustration

A task that must be filled

Pick from many chores

Choose one that leaves me chilled

Sometimes I feel guilty

For getting so upset

I am far from perfect

I am my own worst threat

When my world feels crazy

I find some quiet time

Shut down thoughts and listen

And try to still my mind

For choices will come forth

If I stop and listen

While my mind is quiet

Options pop like visions

Subconscious is my friend

Finds options when I'm stumped

When I fail to listen

May have to take some lumps!
