"Sehun!" I shouted, throwing the glass door open angrily. My feet stomped harshly against the concrete, with such force that I felt they must have been cracking the ground.

Sehun didn't slow down in the slightest. Instead, I watched as he glanced at me over his shoulder, and rolled his eyes.

It sparked my fury even more.

Quicker now, I ran until I was hot on his heels, and just barely was able to snatch his wrist. I yanked him to a rough stop, panting harshly. "What the fuck is your problem?" I seethed, grip tightening.

Sehun's head whipped back and forth at the volume of my words, before rolling his eyes. "Really, you have to do this here?" He asked, gesturing to the wide, yet empty, expanse of concrete sidewalks and grass surrounding us.

"Where else?" I asked, keeping my gaze steady with his. "Come on, answer me!"

Sehun groaned, before turning and pulling me in the opposite direction of where we usually head to class. I kept spitting out burning remarks the whole way, so done with putting up with his stupid snarky remarks and negative attitude. Quickly, he lead me to an alley between the gap of two buildings, before we ducked into the shadows.

"Are you kidding me Chae?" Sehun spat, his tone fiery. "Are you really that full of yourself that everyone needs to like you?"

"Absolutely not." I stated, dropping his wrist and crossing my arms. "I just don't know why you're such an arrogant douche all the time! What did I do to deserve your pestering and belittlement?"

Sehun grumbled under his breath, kicking stones with the tip of his sneaker. "Is it really so strange that I don't like you?"

I gulped, eyes trailing down his frame. "No. Trust me Sehun, there's a lot of me that's unlikable. Even so, I've been nothing but polite. I can't - " I raised my hands, but they were shaking with the anger running through my veins. "I can't keep trying to be your friend unless you give me a reason to. I've been polite, friendly, i've tried teasing you and trying to be playful, but you only react with hostility!"

"I don't want you to be my friend. In fact, I don't want you at all! Leave me alone!" Sehun shouted, the volume of his words knocking the breath from my lungs.

He began pacing back and forth, hands balled into fists at his sides. "You're too persistent, an attention seeker, you're so fake and two faced! You're a stereotypical popular girl, cheerleading team and prom queen, and I hate it." Sehun finally stopped pacing, his own hand steady as he used it to point a finger at me. His eyes were narrowed, gaze cold and harsh.

"You think that the world owes you something because you try to be a good person, but guess what? It doesn't. I don't want to be near you when you figure that out yourself; in fact, I don't want to be near you at all. I don't want to be around people like you, Chae, I can't trust you! Why should I?"

"That's unfair and you know it!" I growled lowly, stepping towards him. My fists balled at my sides were shaking with fury.

"How?" Sehun demanded. "How do I know it?"

The ice in his words sent a chill through my body. I couldn't look into his eyes without my heart racing, mind going numb, but I did it anyway. "Because I'm not that kind of person."

Sehun scoffed, an angry smirk plastering itself across his striking features. He shook his head softly, hair falling into his eyes, but he didn't bother to fix it. "Sure thing jagi, if you want to deny it, go for it. Until then, I have class."

"Sehun, wait." I growled, grabbing his arm before he was able to leave. "Look at me."

Slowly, he turned around to face me, the distance between us closing ever so slightly. Even that change sent electricity down my spine, in fear.
