"I don't know if I can do this." I said, my breath coming out in thick clouds of steam. Baekhyun let me borrow his coat, keeping my upper body warm, but my bare legs were freezing.

"He won't be here, Chae, don't worry!" Chanyeol said, rubbing his hands on my shoulders. "It's a Thursday night anyway, it won't be busy, they won't need many workers."

His words didn't calm me, my heart still pummelling as he led me inside the building. It was slick and icy, making me grip onto Sehun's arm beside me to keep me upright.

"Ew, off." he said with a huff, shaking his arm until my grip faltered.

I rolled my eyes at him, sneering, instead holding my arms out for balance as we all shuffled inside. Tonight was certainly the best night to come out; tomorrow being Liberation Day, we got the day free of classes to relax.

Of course for us, that just meant another night to grab a couple drinks.

I slipped off Baekhyun's coat, tossing it oven my arm quickly. I was ready to give it to cat check, something I normally skipped, but tonight I had planned ahead.

Bringing a coat would add a few minutes to get it checked through. These wedges would make it easier to run off if needed be, my dress the same one I had worn on halloween. I made sure it was loose, so constantly tugging it down would be one less thing I had to worry about.

"I'll check the coat for you if you want." Kyungsoo said, sneaking up beside me and grabbing it from my arm. "You can head inside and scope it out, if it makes you feel any better."

I shot him a tight lipped smile, grabbing it back form his grasp. "Thanks, but I'll use every chance I can to avoid going in there." I laughed it off, even though my palm were sweating.

Kyungsoo pursed his lips back at me, giving me a terse nod. "Yeah, I get it. We'll head on in then, meet us by our table, yeah?"

I nodded back at him, upturned lips hiding the turmoil in my mind.

The coat check went far quicker than I had hoped, the girl behind the counter flicking through the racks to find me a spot. She handed me the number with a quick smile, ushering me along so she could help the next person. Following the sea of people, I waded into the open bar area, eyes searching for the boys.

Tucked back in the corner, at our usual table, I saw the huddled group of boys all tucked tightly into the small space. I could also see the bar, lit and twinkling in my peripheral.

I avoided it like the plague.

Scurrying over to the boys, I tucked myself between Baekhyun and Sehun, wedging to be out f vision from anyone at the bar.

"Excuse you? Oh, sure thing." Sehun said sarcastically, smirking. He shifted aside slightly, giving me some breathing room.

"Yeah, excuse me." I said sheepishly, resting my hands on the high tabletop. "Did we order a round?"

"Yeah, on me." Kyungsoo said with a curt nod, and a small smile. "Just a shot each to start, I wasn't sure how drunk you'd be wanting to get tonight."

I smiled back, drumming my fingers onto the tabletop. "Yeah, I have a feeling I'm going to be the designated mother tonight." I nodded, knowing that I wasn't in the right  mood to go crazy tonight.

Kyungsoo laughed, shaking his head. "Finally, a night off."

I rolled my eyes, but knew that he was right. "Yeah, enjoy it." I said with a laugh, just as the waiter pulled out to our table, shots in tow.
