Chapter 5- realization

Namjoon's POV

I was highly confused on my feeling towards (Y/N) I wasn't sure if I loved her or If I just like her as a friend. I've got a lot of thinking to do.

(Y/N) came downstairs this morning and didn't even look at me I guess she is still mad at me from last night. I wasn't trying to hurt her feelings, I wanted to tell her that J-Hope is a heartbreaker he wants revenge for the people who broke his.

(Y/N) sat down at the table by Suga and Jin, she started eating her breakfast after saying good morning to everyone except me. The boys noticed and looked at me with a pity look. I shook my head meaning I'll tell them later. I ate my breakfast quickly and headed to my studio to practice some music.

I was working on some new lyrics for our new album when there was a knock at my door. I got up and answered it, it was ( Y/N).
"Hey what do you need?" I asked awkwardly

"I wanted to apologize for getting angry at you yesterday I was upset because of what you said about J-Hope."

"But you know I meant what I said right? He will break your heart all he wants is revenge on the people who broke his." I said seriously
"But J-Hope would never do that so don't just accuse him like that!" She shouted at me " look I'm sorry if you don't believe me and I'm sorry your mad at me but it's the truth and if you don't believe me you can go ask the rest of the boys!" I said "I want to believe you but until it actually happens to me I won't.." she said and did the unthinkable and hugged me.

This made my heart skip a beat, I couldn't be mad at her anymore so I hugged her back enjoying the moment. We separated and looked each other in the eyes. I smiled, "So what are you working on?" She asked me while peering over my side. "I'm working on some lyrics for the new album." I said walking back over to my desk, sitting down and grabbing the couple pieces of paper I had on my desk. I scanned them to see if they made sense and sighed.
(Y/N) observes me as I did, "If I get accepted in Big Hit Entertainment do you think I will be able to write songs?" She asked sincerely. I look up at her before speaking, "if you can dance and sing then you should have no problem writing down lyrics on paper." I said honestly. She smile at my response and sat down next to me.

I got up and moved my chair over to my piano and sat down, I started playing spring day and humming the lyrics. My finger moved graciously over the keys hitting them softly as if they would break if I pressed too hard. I poured my feelings into the song making it a beautiful melody.

After I finished the song I let the tune of the keys die out until there was nothing but silence that filled the air around me. The song and the way I played made me realize something, I have fell for (Y/N).

I looked over at (Y/N) who had tears in her eyes. I walked over to her and crouched in front of her. "Why are you crying?" I said wiping some of her tears away from her eyes. "The way you played was just so beautiful and couldn't help but cry!" She said smiling. I chucked and pulled her into a warm hug. She cried silently on my shoulder while I rubbed small circles on her back. She pulled away from me and smiled, my heart skipped a beat when she did.

I grabbed her hand and looked her in the eyes, "(Y/N) I want to promise you something, any time you feel like you need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on my door is always open to you. I want to be there for you no matter what, and it doesn't matter if your leaving next month I don't want this to be end of us... I want us to stay in contact." I said holding on to her hands tightly like if I let them go she will suddenly disappear from me.

"Thank you for everything Namjoon and I mean it!" She said caressing my cheek. I closed my eyes and let her.

We decided that it would be fun if me and her would go to the arcade and play a few games with the rest of the boys. Everyone gathered up in the car and the the driver drove us to the arcade.

We decided we should play air hockey for a few. It was Jin against Jimin, first round Jin kept missing the puck but when he finally hit it, it went into Jimin's goal. Everyone including (Y/N) broke out laughing. Next match it was V and jungkook, they both were hitting the puck kind of hard so when it bounced off the edge it hit Jin and he hurled over the table in pain. Everyone couldn't help but joke around while he was in pain.

We all did a couple more matches against each other and messed around for a few until it was getting late and had to head home. Tomorrow was the day (Y/N) decided to audition for Bit Hit Entertainment, she worked hard and I'll be looking forward to watching and supporting her through this.

When we got home we all went to our rooms to sleep, I laid down on my my bed to collect my thoughts before changing, I really do hope (Y/N) is accepted into the company if she is then we be sure to hang out more. I wish you all the luck (Y/N)!
