I don't know if this might trigger anyone, I don't really see how but I'm going to be talking about cancer and some other medical stuff

A year ago, I had suspicions that my mom had breast cancer. To this day, I still don't know whether she does or not. My mom is going to turn 47 on Thursday, and she's recently been having chest pains. A year ago, the same thing happened. My dad managed to put together some money to be able to take her go to the doctor. She went but wouldn't tell my sister and I what happened. I'm not stupid, I know she was trying to hide something from us so one day she asked me to get her phone but before I gave it to her I looked at her messages. Yes I know that's wrong but I just wanted to know what was wrong. I saw her saying that she took some tests but they weren't clear so they had to run them again. Unfortunately, we didn't have the money and she hasn't taken them since. This past week she's been sick or something, she told me once her heart hurt, but I know she didn't want me to know that. Today she went to the doctors and just told my sister and I "they weren't sure what was wrong" even though they prescribed her some medicine. How can you prescribe medicine without a doctor telling what they think or know is wrong? I don't think it's possible. When we went to pick up the medicine, she made me wait some other place for her but I got to hear the pharmacist saying that the tablets are very sensitive to light and liquids?? I'm going to see if I can look at it while everyone's asleep tonight. Wish me luck!!

Also any advice would be appreciated (:
