You woke up to the sound of absolutely nothing. It was quite, way too quite and you opened your eyes hesitantly, afraid of what you might find. You were still in your room but it was like there was a filter over everything. Sitting up, you noticed a man sitting at the foot of your bed. You cautiously reached under your pillow for your gun.

"Its not there." The man said, turning to look at you. You had to admit that he was handsome but there was something about him that sent shivers down your spine.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?" You questioned.
He let out a small laugh.

"You humans are very entertaining at times. Y/N, your dreaming." He explained.

"How do you know my name?" You slid out of the bed, making some distance between yourself and the stranger.

"I know everyone in Sam's life." He stated simply.

"How do you know Sam? Who are you?" You asked for a second time.

"Well that's where things get tricky. Sam, he's my true vessel and I, I am Lucifer." He stood up from the bed walking towards you. At the sound of his name, you backed away from him, your back hitting your bedroom wall. Without realizing it, you had cornered yourself.

"That's impossible." You said in disbelief.

"Oh, I'm afraid it is possible. See our Sammy, let me out of the cage and now I'm here to do what needs to be done." He continued to walk towards you, seeming to enjoy your state of confusion and panic.

"If you're after Sam, than why are you talking to me? What do you want from me?"

"I know your with him, Sam I mean, and like Sam you are an incredibly hard human to find. So I don't suppose you would just tell me where the two of you are?" There was only a small gap between the two of you now. His piercing blue eyes staring into your Y/E/C ones.

"Why would I do that?" He slammed his hands on the wall beside both sides of your head, making you jump.

"Because I know you're more than just a pretty face, Y/N, your a smart girl." He gave you a devilish smile, tuckin a couple strands of hair behind your ear.

"I wouldn't do that to Sam." You said,  your voice barely above a whisper.

"I'm glad to see your loyalty to Sam but whether you help me or not, I will find him, he will say yes to me and I will get everything I want." He leaned in close to your ear, wishpering, "including you."

You woke up with a jult, sitting up quickly, you looked around the room. It was your normal bedroom, there was no strange filter and no one in it but you and Noble. Looking at your clock, you saw it was only two in the morning. You knew you weren't gonna get any sleep so you changed into a fitting long sleeve black shirt, some gray sweatpants and fluffy socks. You grabbed your comforter and went out on the front porch. With the blanket wrapped around you and with Noble at your feet, you sat on your large swing waiting for the rest of the word to wake up.

As you sat in the cool night air, watching the sky slowly get lighter and lighter, you thought about your "dream." You had no idea what Luicfer wanted with you, or why he wanted you. You were also scared for Sam, you couldn't imagine what he must be going through. You put your head in your hands, frustrated. Tears slipped down your cheek, you never thought you would be in a situation like this.

"Y/N? Is everything alright?" Sam's voice startled you. Lifting up your head, you quickly wiped away your tears.

"Yeah, I'm fine." You gave him a fake smile. He sat down next to you, he looked just as bad, if not worse, than you did. He probably didn't sleep much either.

"Y/N, I've learned over the years that when a woman says she's fine, she's really not." He chuckled a little, "So what's up?" He looked at you with concern. You were so conflicted, what did he know, what would he think?

"It was just.....a bad dream." You struggled to find the words. The two of you looked into each others eyes and suddenly he began nodding his head, his eyes dull with sadness.

"He visited you last night, didn't he?" He clenched his jaw as you nodded. Tears began to stream down your face once again.
"So you know-" You cut him off.

"That you're his vessel." You voice wavered as you spoke.

"What else did he tell you?" He sounded angry now, he looked out at the landscape around you.

"H-he asked me to tell him where we are and when I refused he got angry." You shuddered at the memory, " Then he told me that even without my help he would get what he wanted....including me." You ended your sentence in a whisper, wrapping your arms around yourself.

"What? What does he want with you?" Sam asked in disbelief.

"I don't know!" You cried, you were terrified of the possibilities and Sam's interrogation wasn't making you feel any better about the whole thing.

"Y/N, I'm sorry, I-i didn't mean to-" Unable to find the words, moved the blanket and pulled you into a hug, pressing your ear to his chest, he rested his chin on your head. He rubbed your arm as you cried.

"I'm sorry I dragged you into this, I never meant for you to get caught in the cross fire." Sam whispered. You pulled away from him, staring at him dumbfounded.

"Why are you apologizing? You haven't done anything wrong! Lucifer's the one to blame for this." He stood up, quickly, obviously upset.

"I started the freaking Apocalypse Y/N! And your telling me I haven't done anything wrong?! The world is going to end because of me!" He shouted, now you were on your feet.

"People make mistakes Sam! Its what makes us human, yeah you screwed up but your Sam freaking Winchester and I know for a fact that you won't let some psychotic angel destroy the world!" You shouted back, both of you in the others face.

"How can you say that? How can you be so sure?!"

"Because I know you!"

"You don't know anything about me! You haven't been there Y/N! You were never there!"

"You know why I wasn't there? Cause your Dad kicked me to the curb! Decided I wasn't worth it and handed me off to someone else, I was so scared Sam! I lost my family twice in a two year time frame!" Breathing heavily he looked at you, confused.

"Dad said, said that you wanted to leave…"

"Why would I want that Sam? Why would I want to leave my best friend, my only friend?" Your voice was hoarse from shouting.

"I-i didn't th-" You had had enough and you quickly cut him off.

"Save it, I think you've said all you needed to say." Without waiting for a response, you shoved your way past him, Noble on your heels.

"Y/N, wait!" You stormed in the house, going straight to your bedroom, you slammed the door shut once you and Noble had made it in, locking the door behind you.

You leaned against the door, sliding down it, you sat of the floor with your knees to your chest. Angry and hurt tears falling from your cheeks and you wished that Sam Winchester had never knocked on your door.
