{I'm sticking with the numbers from now on.}
Daniel knocked on the door to David's cabin. A few shuffles and mumbles here and there before the door opened, revealing a smiling David.
"Oh hey there Daniel! What do you need?" David asked as he opened the door some more to let Daniel in.
"When does the Camper Games start?"
"Oh! It starts sometime this afternoon!"
Daniel smiled a bit. "So we have some time."
David stared at Daniel for a bit. "Time for what?" He questioned as he walked up to Daniel.
Daniel grabbed David's hand and pulled him close. He let out a chuckle at seeing how fast David's face got red.
"D-Daniel."
"Hm?"
"We c-can't do this. W-We have to g-get the Camper Games ready."
Daniel held David closer. "I'll make it quick~" Daniel whispered into his ear.
David's face somehow got darker as he squeezed Daniel's hand. "W-We... We can't."
He sighed and let go of David. "Very well. I can wait." He turned and walked out of the cabin, leaving David to his own confused, flustered thoughts.

"I hate this. Why is this mandatory?" Max questioned as he walked with Neil and Nikki.
"I mean. The Camper Games aren't that bad. Sure they're BAD but not like, bad-bad." Neil said.
"I like the Camper Games! I get to tackle people without getting yelled at!" Nikki shouted throwing her arms up into the air.
Max groaned as he walked up to the other camps, clearly displeased at seeing the fellow campers.
Pikeman walked up to Max, he looked somewhat nervous and Max noticed this. "What do you want, Pikeman?"
"Your new counselor... We um, we got to speak to him a bit..."
"And you see that he's a fucking psychopath."
The groups nodded their heads at Max's words. He knew that Daniel was making quite the impression on everyone, but he didn't care, he just wanted Daniel gone.
"Hello!" Someone yelled.
When looking back it was David, yet Daniel was no where to be found near the red head. Max took a mental note of this.
"Oh? Is Daniel not here?" David questioned as he looked around.
"Wait. You don't know where he is!?" Neil yelled out. Again, mental note for Max.
Max looked around the small crowd of campers and he noticed it. Space Kid. He was missing, so was Daniel. Max's mind went to dark places and turned to David.
"Is something wrong Max?" David asked.
"Space Kid is missing. So is Daniel."
Max watched as David's face turned from happiness to somewhat horror. "J-Just stay here kids! I'll go look for them!" He said as he tried his best to hold a smile and quickly walked away.
Max decided to go to the lake, where he found Daniel, yet no Space Kid. But then he noticed Daniel's position, kneeling over the edge of the lake and his arms were... squirming? Max then quickly ran to David and grabbed him, soon pulling him to the lake.
"Daniel!" David yelled loudly.
Daniel jumped slightly and looked back to David, Daniel looked tired and somewhat wore out. "He's drowning Space Kid!" Max yelled loudly.
Other campers heard Max's yell and ran up looking at Daniel in horror, even David. Daniel quickly stood up and put his arms in the air, his wrists and hands were covered in scratches and bite marks. Daniel sighed and smiled. David ran up and looked at the marks that were heavily bleeding.
Max ran up and looked into the lake, hoping that it wasn't Space Kid, and it wasn't. It was Platypus, the Camp Campbell mascot.
"I was trying to get the mascot. When I was in the hospital David mentioned that it was important to the camp." Daniel said.
David smiled and sighed, but then remembered. "We have to get you to a hospital!" He yelled out.
"Nonsense. Platypus's poison can't kill people. Though it is supposed to be excruciatingly painful." Daniel chuckled and smiled towards David.
"Then I can go out into town and get you pain-"
"Nope. Doesn't work. Also I'll be fine. I've felt worse."
"Where's Space Kid, you fuck!?" Max yelled pointing at Daniel.
"Max! L-"
"He's over there." Daniel interrupted while pointing at a log where Space Kid was sitting. "He was trying to get the mascot and almost fell in. So I told him to sit down."
~~~
Everyone decided to go to the mess hall to relax and get out of the sun. Gwen was cleaning and bandaging Daniel's hands, while Neil spoke to Daniel.
"Are you sure that platypus's poison can't kill people?" Neil questioned.
Daniel gave a small chuckle. "Of course. My father taught me what poisons can kill and can't kill. Also some simple internet research helps."
Neil and Gwen looked kind of scared at the nonchalant mention of Daniel's past at being taught on poison. Max glared at Daniel while drinking some juice that David gave him to calm him down. David walked up and pet Max's head, who gave a small swat at his wrist but David could tell that he didn't really care. He sat down beside Max and smiled.
