Meta held her twins close to her chest as she ran through the forest leaving no trace of her presence behind. If she was to be found by the kingdom, it would be over for her and her children. Her scarlet cloak trailed behind her into the night sky. When she finally stopped to rest, her daughter began to cry. Meta was distraught, unable to calm her child.
"Hush, hush, It'll be alright." She tried to gently rock her child, but her daughter was far too hungry and tired to be quieted. Meta set the twins down by a large oak tree, making sure to wrap them tightly in their blankets. "I'll be right back- I promise, my loves." her tone spoke heartbreak, a mother's lament of her situation. All she wanted to do was help her dear children, keep them safe and warm and happy, but she was unable, and she knew if her captors found them, they could never be as safe as Meta could keep them.

Eve's home was a quaint place. Though she and Adam built it with their own hands, it was warm and safe and they loved it. On the far side of Levianta, where Adam's past could never reach them. The one thing Even wished for, though, was children. After her own pregnancy had been a failure, she only wanted to raise her twins. But for now the couple lived happily.
One of Eve's favorite pass-times was walks under the moonlight. Her sky blue hair shimmered and shone in the pale light as she made her way across a darkened path.
"Be back before midnight." Adam had told her before she left, and the woman planned to be home the minute before the clock rung. She felt free in the cool air. Her heart was as joyful and bouncy as her smile as she skipped through grass and leaves and sticks, the top of her home in sight over the trees. Eve only stopped when she heard quiet crying through the trees. An instinct pulled at her heart- guiding her off her path and into the deep woods, while the sobbing grew louder.
Eve came across a pair of precious items- and she knew she had to protect them. Eve scooped up the twin fruits, cuddling them close to her chest. "I've found you at last!" She whispered, and instantly their crying ceased. So Eve continued to skip along back to her path.

Where were her babies? Meta fell to her knees, grasping a wicker basket in her knuckles white with fear. "No... no..." she murmured, staring at the patch of grass under that great oak tree where she swore she had left her babies. A crunching through the foliage caused her head to turn, and she watched a blue-headed girl skip by... with two bundles help by her chest.
Meta ran after her, and her cloak once more trailed behind her. A scarlet in the deep blue night that seemed to surround her like shadows.
"Please, stop, my babies!" she cried with obvious pain in her voice. The sky blue culprit slowly turned around after stopping, and the look on her face was that of pure horror. Meta's arm reached out for her children. "My darlings... they need to be safe.."
And the clock rung a strong bell through Adam and Eve's home. Adam's eyes turned to the door, worry clouding his mind. His wife had yet to come home.
For at the midnight hour, the first sin was committed under the moonlit sky.

When Eve returned, Adam was quick to greet her. "Love- you've been away for so long, I had begun to worry!" He ran to hug her, before realizing what she held in her arms. Twin children, eyes shut peacefully as she cradled them against her chest.
"I brought our precious ones home, I found them, Adam, I..." Eve looked to her husband with a joyful smile. Her lost twins were finally home.. but he only stared at her. With that horrible, shocked face.
"Eve.. your children died years ago, in your womb. Cain and Abel never survived." He tried to reach out to take the twins, but Eve stepped away. "Return these children to their mother- now!"
Eve looked down to the twins in her arms. "No, Adam..." she breathed. As her gaze focused on the two, she realized they were not her precious things, but two twins with golden hair. She had stolen them. In a panicked rush, Eve ran back through the door and pushed it open. "I'm so sorry, I-"
Meta Salmhofer lay in the grass, her deep red hair splayed around her head, a deep contrast to the blue night. Her outstretched fingers seemed to be ever reaching for something she could not grasp- mirrored in her milky eyes, so in vain, yet so at peace. Inches from her body, a glass bottle of milk lay, shattered and spilling in to the grass, and in her other limp hand, a wicker basket.
Her scarlet cloak seemed to match the growing pool of blood that melted and swirled with the moonlight like the galaxy of stars that reflected in her glassy eyes.

FanficSimply my interpretation of Mothy/Akuno-p's series. Like 50% of this is SUPPOSED to make sense, the other half isn't.
