Chapter 24 - Fight the Fear

Tom's POV.

"He killed my parents." She spoke those words so softly I didn't know if I had actually heard them or made them up in my head. Her eyes where watering, she looked so innocent in that moment that it completly broke my heart. I opened up my arms wide and hugged her tightly, I could feel her pain some how, I knew how scared she was just by hearing her cry. Her tears dripped down and dampened my shirt. I broke away from the hug and wiped away her tears with my thumb. Standing back up so I was yet again towering over her, I reached my hand out for her to take it, and she did.

"Im scared." She confessed, I felt sad for her but at the same time I felt kind of happy that she was confessing her feelings to me at last, so I could help her. I pulled her small body close to me so I could confort her.

"You don't need to be, I'm here." I whispered into her ear, she smiled slightly as I lead her back to the que, Robert sent me a questioning look as well as the others I just sent them a reassuring smile in return.

Soon we where showing our pass ports and about to board the plane, but Eilsa froze when she saw the air hostess womens welcoming faces. They smiled at us, inviting us on board but Eilsa just stood there, she seemed incredibely terrified and I just wish I could help her, I signaled for Robert and the others to go ahead and board.

I quickly tuned to Eilsa, bending down so I was eye level. She quickly moved her head so she wasn't looking at me, I moved a couple of strans of her black long hair out of her face. She still didn't look at me though.

"Eilsa, look at me." I whispered to her, she obeyed me, but didn't make exact eye contact, her eyes just darted everywhere but mine. I placed my other hand on her other cheek so she I had her head in my hands. Then, her eyes finaly met with mine.

"There is nothing to be scared about." I told her, she bit her lip, trying to fight her fear. "Let the fear in, let it consume you, then fight it back, don't let it control you. Count to ten, and then show everyone who you can be." I told her, her eyes seemed to shimmer with what looked like hope, like she was following my rules to over come her fears. A crease formed on her head as she concentrated, I waited pastiontly for her to try and overcome it, this wouldn't happen immedianly I knew that, but she could over come it a bit, enough for her to at least board the plane, I would be with her the whole way, there was nothing to fear. And I can't express that enough.

"Okay." She finaly broke, her eyes meeting with mine again, a look of worrie still permenant on her face, her hands shaking as she took my hands away from her face. I stood up straighter and placed my right hand on her shaking right shoulder, she looked up at me and gave me a weak smile before taking a deep breath and walking into the plane. I gave our tickets to the ladys while still holding on to Eilsa's shoulder in a reasuring way.

We made out way to our seats as we where now the last to board it was pretty crowded, I quickly found them and stashed my spare lugage bag into the over head compartment and then Eilsa's. She crawled into her seat which was next to the window, she peered out, her eyes wide. I could tell there was some excitment mixed with the fear. I sat in next to her, the spare seat next to us was empty which ment later I could relaxe out. I held Eilsa's hand as I helped her buckle her seat belt, the blinking lights informing us to. Then waited for the plane to take off.
