Summary:To be a utopia, one must eliminate the wrong. To eliminate the wrong makes a dystopia. Eleutheria is a paradox. Dalia is at the pinnacle of human evolution. In a world where entire populations can be subdued with the touch of a button, she holds the key to destroying the planet- or saving it. Leading a double life, she's the picture of a perfect leader- and a perfect rebel. But when her childhood best friend joins a dangerous movement that goes against everything Dalia stands for, everything goes south. Warring political parties demand change for all the wrong reasons. Young women are assassinated and murdered. A planetwide revolt ends in tragedy. And life from beyond the solar system slowly inches closer, but their intentions are unknown and they themselves are dangerous. Dalia finds herself with people she'd never thought she'd meet, shooting down people she'd never thought she'd hate, and fighting against a city she thought she'd always love- and in the end, it might not even matter.

Review:  First thoughts about this book is that it is confusing. World building was done well but the story is set so in the far future that it is hard to imagine. During fight scenes with a lot of moving proved that discerning between different were places were hard. Names and places were often hard to remember because of the interchangeable nicknames and the actual name. Point of view changes happened a lot throughout this book most don't make sense until the end. With point of views changing so much at first glance almost all the characters felt the same upon reading the  point of views. As I spent more time with these characters it became easier to tell them apart. This book touch's on castes and how people shouldn't be treated by their castes. It was executed very well there their was st some confusion on my side it that wasn't the authors fault. I understand the idea of castes just not with these select people in this society. Which leads to the next point the movement and the revolutionary. While reading this book you gain insight on reasons why both sides believe in their side. Most of it is on the revolutionary side with very little on the movement side. I would have liked to seen the movements key players reasoning for joining the movement with flashbacks or there thoughts. Seeing as fighting on this planet has started to tear this planet apart with these two groups going at it. They forget about the aliens. Eventually there is a meeting with the aliens that raised a lot of questions about them and the characters we follow. Not very much can be said about them seeing as I only just met them but that the thought process of what they look like was cool. Author notes help a lot with understanding this story so don't miss out on those.
