September 12th, 1992.

Since it was the weekend, Tom, Harry, and his friends decided to go to Diagon Alley for a little shopping. Personally, Harry was extremely excited; he had lived in an only Wizarding community all his life, yes, but he had never gone outside and experienced the culture before going to Diagon Alley once. Even though they weren't going to Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley was still a place that was packed with Wizarding supplies and shops.

Harry couldn't wait.

Of course, Tom wouldn't let them go alone- there were Death Eaters positioned all around the area, just in case something were to go wrong and their Lord and Prince were in need of their assistance. Harry didn't think they were going to be caught- they were all wearing glamours.

Harry wore a glamour that made him look like he had shorter, blond hair, with brown eyes. He was also a few inches shorter.

Tom wore a glamour that made him look like he had shoulder length light brown hair, and blue eyes. He was the same height.

Ron wore a glamour that made him look like he had black hair styled in a mohawk, and dark blue eyes. He lost the freckles and he was a couple inches shorter.

Hermione wore a glamour that made her look like she had long, straight red hair, with hazel eyes. She was the same height.

Neville wore a glamour that made him look like he had curly dark brown hair, with hazel eyes. He was a few inches taller.

Luna wore a glamour that made her look like she had short red hair, styled with a curling iron, and hazel eyes. She was playing the part as Hermione's sister.

Draco wore a glamour that made him look like he had the same blond hair, but with green eyes. He was a few inches taller.

Fred and George were still going to be twins- they both had light brown hair, freckles, and blue eyes. They were the same height.

Harry understood why himself, Tom, Fred, George and Ron wore glamours, but not everyone else. According to Tom, if they were to be seen by any teacher or student from Hogwarts, they could be forcibly sent back to the school if Dumbledore got involved.

That didn't make any sense to Harry. Wasn't Hogwarts voluntary? One man couldn't possibly force another human being into doing something that they didn't want to do.

When Harry had voiced his opinions to Tom, he had just smiled sadly and gave him a kiss. "Truthfully, no one can fully trust the Headmaster."

'Thank you for the straight answer,' Harry thought sarcastically.

Truth be told, the only reason Harry was going was to get a pet (his parents hadn't let him buy one a year ago). Tom had volunteered to pay for that and more, but Harry didn't want to be too much of a bother. Besides, what would he do with anything else?

Harry thought back to his time in his house as a prisoner, and could tell that he would be more than satisfied with just a pet. I mean, he never had anything except for...

Paints.

He was mentally dumbfounded for a moment. How had he forgotten about his paints? Just last week Harry was talking about painting over the next year!
