April 30th, 1993.
Tom and Harry were walking back to Tom's office after Charms, which Tom was now teaching for the rest of the year. The sun shone brightly and gleamed off of the gold decorations as they moved through the corridors. "Tom?" Harry asked, breaking the comfortable silence between the two. "Can I ask you a question?"
"You're always welcome to ask me whatever you want," was all Tom said, which was good enough for the small raven.
"What are we going to do about the diary over the summer? Ginny probably won't be able to hide it from her entire family for 2 and a half months, let alone be able to help us in Hogwarts. What are we going to do?"
Tom picked up the hands they had been swinging as they moved to press a kiss to Harry's knuckles. "You're right, of course. However, the Chamber of Secrets wasn't ever going to be a long term solution. No, that was only for this year. If we continue to petrify students, they'll somehow find the Chamber and destroy it. I'd much rather endure terror little by little and not get caught. Besides, if we stop now, then it could be put up as an accident and our side won't be blamed."
Harry raised an eyebrow. As always, Tom was right. "That makes sense. But what about the diary?"
"I'll be taking that back," Tom stated. "I'm not keeping a piece of my soul with Ginny Weasley for any longer than necessary. The only reason I gave it to her was to find out more information about the Light via an innocent and naive mind- I do believe I have enough now, so I need it again."
"Information?" Harry questioned. "Is it okay for me to ask what the information was?"
Tom opened the door to the office for Harry to step in. "Of course," He said, closing the door behind him and sitting on his chair. "Her parents and about twenty others are a part of a group called the Order of the Phoenix." He chuckled as Harry climbed on his lap. "Dumbledore knows it's somehow me opening the Chamber of Secrets. However no one in the school has any Dark objects- that he thinks, anyway. At least now they won't be able to figure out if it was me or not, because he isn't in office anymore. The strange thing is is that they still think they can win. They barely talk about you."
Harry sighed. "Well, that part isn't new. What about my parents?"
"They don't seem to care either." Tom looked at Harry sympathetically. "I'm so sorry, darling. You don't deserve them."
"It's alright," Harry reassured as he was pulled into a loving embrace. "Nothing I'm not used to. But love, if they don't have Dumbledore to protect them, can't we kill them all? You said there's only twenty of them, and we have hundreds."
Tom grabbed Harry's hand. "It's not time yet, my sweet. If we were to kill them, people would replace them. There'd be an uprising, and it would be even harder to control the public because they would hate us even more. No, we need to wait until we properly infiltrate the ministry- not just imperio the minister- and portray them as monsters. Then we can kill them," he explained, rubbing Harry's ring. "It's like a game of Wizard's chess, dear. We have to look one step ahead of our competitor."
Harry hummed lightly. "I understand. But when the time comes, may I kill my parents?"
"Whatever you would want, darling."

Today was going to be another Death Eater face off. This time, however, Harry was going to fight as well.
"You have your wand?"
"Yes, honey."
"You have your mask?"
