Twenty One

Week later

•Liam•

Louis and Alice were safely home. Alice had a cast on her leg, walking on crutches. Louis had a back brace, his tail in a cast as well and wasn't supposed to work for two months or do anything too active. He had to rest, the only time allowed to walk was to use the loo, shower, and go to bed. His mother Jay came to help out for those two months. When she first saw them back home, she balled her eyes out because she had almost lost her baby boy. 

Riley and I sat on the couch, her head in my lap with our finger laced together on her baby bump. We were trying to figure out names for the twins but it wasn't working out quite yet. It was difficult for us to pick names. 

"How about Dakota?" Riley suggests. 

"Dakota is nice name, for our boy right?" I ask. 

"No silly for our baby girl."

"Oh, oh right okay I like that for her and the middle name Anne?" I suggest and she nods. "Michael for our boy?"

"No his middle name and I think his first should be Robin."

"Robin with an i? I think it should be with a y, so R-o-b-y-n." I spell out the name. Riley nods again liking the name. "So we are settled with Dakota Anne and Robyn Michael Payne." I say smiling down at my girlfriend. 

I grab the book lying beside me, starting to read it to Riley. The book was The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.  It about a girl named Hazel that has cancer. That's only farther we had gotten. 

Tomorrow Riley is having her baby shower with the girls while I start packing up our stuff for our move into the house the next day. And then after we move I having a lawyer case to attend to graduate. While Harry has his surgery to attend to graduate.  

Harry was really excited that he was going to be a doctor soon. I can't remember if he wanted to try being a children doctor so he's always working with kids or something else. 

With me I'll quit my job at Bill and Jacks and the record shop. I would be getting a lot more money from being a lawyer. I just hope for when I do become the lawyer out there that I won't have to leave a lot. I want to stay home and be with my family. Riley probably wouldn't like that I would be on business trips but it's my job if I have too I will go on them but if it consists on moving out of London to love somewhere else, no thank you. 

"Liam?" Riley say my name, I move the book looking down at her. "The door honey." I help her sit up do I can get the door. 

"Hey!" Eleanor sang as I opened the door. "Guess who has news for you!"

"Is it Niall?" She bites her lip and shakes her head. "Is it soon to be Mrs. Horan?" She still biting her lip as she nods. 

"I got a letter in the mail saying I was accepted into UNI to get my bachelor’s degree in teaching!" She says sitting down in a chair. 

"Congrats El." Ri says. 

Eleanor started explaining how her days were going to be busy. She would have to teach her class in the morning then have night classes. Her night classes only last two and half hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. She knew that she was going to be tied less sleep but she had to keep her job at the school. She would only be doing this for two years. She gets a break every other month. August, October, December, February, April, and June.

•Louis•

I sat on the couch, back straight because of the brace, my tail laid to my side all wrapped up. Alice sat beside me with her foot up on a pillow that was on the coffee table. She hated being injured I could tell. Can't do much with a broken foot or tail in my cast, which connects to my backbone. I can't do anything and I'm going to have back problems for the rest of my life. 

"Mum, is our food almost done." I call to my mum that was cooking in the kitchen. She walks into the door way with a towel in her hand. 

"Louis dear, it's cooking. It's going to take a while." I groan throwing by head back. She went back into the kitchen as I went back to watching the telly. Alice was reading a book that my mum got her. She loved that she was able to read especially bigger words that's she learning to pronounce.  

Dinner was finally ready, my mum bringing food trays in. Placing a tray on both our laps, and then going back into the kitchen to get her own food. 

Stan came over for a little bit dropping off a new phone for me and he got Alice one as well. He also gave my mum a set of keys and went to go talk privately. Even though I could hear them. 

"You got them a new house?" My mum whispered. 

"Yeah it's my wedding gift to them. Just making sure their safe from Green." Stan said worriedly. 

"Green’s in jail." Mum said and I knew that she had to have raised an eyebrow. 

"Someone escaped jail. Their running around out there. Were to trying to find them but we can't. Their good. “Stan whispers and maybe looking down at the floor, too afraid to look at his own aunt because she would be furious about this happening. Alice and I both gasped at the same time, a cold chill running down my spine because whoever was out there was looking for us and would want to kill us.
