Naruto's POV

"Sasuke, Naruto! Dinner is ready." Aunt Mikoto calls out. I am really starving and the food smells heavenly. Looks like she really put lots of effort into making it.

"Coming!" We both say in unison. We both look at each other and then laugh simultaneously. I already told him I love his laugh, and boy is it true. Today I got to hear the rarity twice and want him to do that often.

"Whatcha staring at, dobe?" He asks with... a smirk? He sure is getting cocky.

"Nothing good enough to stare at." I shoot back.

"So you're saying that you're staring at me because nothing else is good enough to stare at?"

"Huh! When did I say that? I meant that you aren't good enough to stare at." I say in a rush.

"Then that means you have faulty grammar." He says. "Which proves you're a blockhead." He adds. I grit my teeth.

"Alright, teme. You want to fight? You will get one."

"Bring it on, dobe." The jerk eggs me on.

I charge him with a battle cry and he takes a defensive position. Though just when we are about to clash, who's voice do we hear? Guessed right.

"Sasuke! Naruto! I told you no fights and especially no bad words. How can you forget that so fast?" Aunt Mikoto's voice booms and we both tremble as we glance towards where she is standing.

"How long were you there?" I ask meekly.

"Long enough to hear improper language and watch the start of a fight." She glares. "As your punishment, you will miss dinner and do the chores left."

Oh. God. No!

I don't want to miss my dinner. No way in hell is that going to happen!

"But wasn't it starting tomorrow?" Sasuke asks. Oh yeah. He's right. I look at him with gratitude and then glance at Aunt Mikoto hopefully.

"So what you mean is you would have used foul language and fought as much as you wanted right now because the punishment starts tomorrow. I can't believe you children. Get ready for the punishment. You both deserve it." She chastises.

"Please Auntie forgive us. We were just having a chat. It won't happen again. I don't want to starve. And all that delicious food you made will go to waste. Please, just this once? I am really sorry." I ramble it all in one breath, my words tumbling over one another.

Auntie just chuckles a little and I look at her, perplexed.

"You sure love your food, my dear. And you are quite adorable. Since you feel bad about it, I won't cut your food. But then you both will have to do the dishes and wipe the kitchen counters."

"Yeah that's fine! We will do it!" I quickly reply.

"Uh uh uh." She waves a finger from side to side. "Not so fast. Did you forget your other punishment? So tonight, I will tie you two together since the day is already over. The uncomfortable binding will maybe drill in the manners." She says with a creepy smile.
