"Naruto, can you please hand the blue bowl from that cupboard down there?" Sasuke points at the dark brown piece of furniture and I groan at how I am being ordered around. I don't like this. Not one bit.

I mean, I understand the raven fella is excited for his big bro's birthday, but this is too much. Sasuke is all Itachi this, Itachi that, even when it's not his birthday, so imagine how much fuss he is making for his birthday. It's as though it's the biggest day of his goddamn life. Knowing how much he kisses and worships the ground Itachi nii san walks on, it might as well be the biggest day.

Seeing his face, I observe the glow of excitement, a pretty pink flush to his normally pale cheeks. The joy that he is radiating is uncanny, and my eyes almost bulge out at the difference between yesterday's Sasuke Uchiha, the King of Gloom and Doom, and today's Sasuke Uchiha, the King of All that is Deliriously Happy.

I sigh as I hand him the damn blue bowl he so kindly ordered. Not. I mean not kindly. Obviously NOT. How can I ever expect a luxury such as that from him of all? I again sigh a heavy sigh.

Sasuke observes my antics and rolls his eyes, being way too expressive so easily for someone who has always been gray in emotions. He returns back to stirring the cake mixture. Yes, you heard right! Sasuke Uchiha is making and baking a cake. A chocolate cake, nonetheless. No, I can't believe it. He normally hates anything sweet, except for a few things. Cake is not one of those happy exceptions.

He hasn't allowed anyone else in the kitchen while he bakes. And the only reason I'm here, is to serve His Holiness, the Raven King. The said royalty raises his hand majestically and points this and that, making me rush here and there to cater to His extreme needs. Royalty my foot. I wanted to kick him in the face and leave an imprint that would say, "Look what ordering people does. If you too want an imprint/tattoo for free, then just try to order Naruto Uzumaki."

But obviously I don't kick him. Especially when he keeps smiling at me. I won't crumble under his beautiful smiles. His precious smiles. No, I won't. Ugh. Who am I kidding? I continue to assist him, dazed by those bright smiles and soaking them in, knowing it is a rarity and privilege to see them.

I don't know if I will be able to take it anymore if he constantly keeps surprising me with so many new things in a mere day.

I observe (stare, actually) at him openly as he does everything with perfection and dexterity. How can someone be perfect in so many things? Aside from his personality, everything about him is perfect. The fact alone that the guy can cook at such an age is shocking.

Let me tell you something : I. Just. LOVE. Cakes.

So naturally, my attention soon shifts to the cake in process. I am drawn to the mixture of shiny, molten chocolate like a honey bee to a fragrant flower.

I sniff it, leaning my head over the bowl, and I am sure my sniff is stronger than Akamaru's.

"Open your mouth." I suddenly hear Sasuke demand.

My mouth opens without a thought, still fixated on the molten chocolate, when a spoon is shoved into it, my mouth automatically clamping close. I feel my eyes flutter shut in pleasure as my taste buds are blasted with the heavenly chocolate.
