I start to wake the next morning, smiling as I feel Niall's body heat next to mine. I really don't want to let Niall know that I'm awake because I don't want him to move, so I just snuggle closer and keep my eyes closed. I know I'll need to get up, but for right now, I just want to stay warm and protected in his embrace.
I feel Niall move around, so I open my eyes. He looks down at me, and I smile. He doesn't return my smile, and I get confused. "Good morning." I say with a warm smile, and he just nods. "Morning." He mutters, running a hand through his hair. I'm a little worried because he's doesn't seem happy, and I wonder if maybe I did something wrong.
I place a hand on his shoulder. "Niall, what's wrong?" I ask. He shakes his head. "Nothing babe." He says nonchalantly, but I know there's something up. "Did I do something wrong?" I ask softly, looking down. I hear him chuckle, then he tilts my chin up. "No, babe, you didn't do anything wrong. Last night was amazing." He says, pressing a soft kiss to the soft skin where my jaw meets my neck, and I shiver a little. "Well, you seem like there's something wrong." I say, and he laughs. "I'm upset that it had to end." He says. I look up at him, and he gives me a smile, so I move closer and hug him.
He puts his arms around me, and I burrow closer. "I'm really happy about last night, Niall. I'm glad my first time was with you. I love you." I say, really meaning it. For a moment, he doesn't reply, and I curse myself for saying it. I glance up at him, about to apologize, but he beats me to talking.
"Love you too, babe." He says, and I smile. I lean up and kiss his cheek. "I'm all in, are you?" I ask, and he nods. "Yeah.. But, listen, I've got a class today. I need to go. But I'll call you later." He says, standing and dressing hurriedly. Before I can say anything, he kisses me quickly and disappears out the door. With a small sigh, I stand and put on his robe, then grab my clothes and walk out. I go to my dorm, which is quiet, and grab some clothes, then walk to the bathrooms.
I shower and dress, then walk off campus to Starbucks. I'm just gonna stay here until Niall calls me. I'll read or draw or something. I just can't wait to see him, and I walk inside to get a coffee, a smile on my lips.
