Wonwoo managed to coax Mingyu out of his room and gave him something to drink. Everyone sat down in the living room and Seungcheol began to tell them what happened.
"After you told me to go find Jihoon, I went around the house and I was about to go back to the kitchen when someone bumped into me and I found the hallway. I saw two guys making out and I thought it was just two horny college kids, but the taller, Hoseok, just started undoing Jihoon's buttons and Jihoon was pretty drunk at the time, but he obviously didn't want any of that to happen. He kept telling Hoseok to get off and I threw Hoseok off and grabbed Jihoon, who just started crying," Seungcheol told them before taking a sip of water. They had all sobered up on the car ride home. Everyone was silent. For once, Minghao and Junhui weren't sitting together.
"I saw Hoseok before I left. His lip was bleeding," Junhui told the others.
"Seungcheol, did you do that?" Hansol asked the eldest. Seungcheol was silent, but nodded. Everyone went silent again.
"I think we should get some sleep. Can I sleep over?" Seungcheol said, breaking the tense silence.
"Yeah, I can take Jihoon's bed. You can either sleep on the couch or with Jihoon," Mingyu slipped his hands out of Wonwoo's grasp and walked to the bathroom. Wonwoo looked like he wanted to go after Mingyu, but Minghao grabbed Wonwoo's arm and shook his head. They all started filing out and by the time they were all in their apartments, it was 3 AM. When Seungkwan, Seokmin, and Minghao entered their apartment, Seungkwan asked Minghao what happened.
"Well, I went to find Junhui and found him making out with some girl," Minghao muttered, untying his robe to the white shirt and pants underneath.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Look, he was drunk though, right?" Seungkwan put a hand on Minghao's shoulder.
"Yeah, but I don't think that gives him the right to kiss whatever thing breathes," Minghao sighed, falling on the couch.
"Well, obviously not. What do you want us to do? We can do whatever to get your mind off it," Seungkwan said as Seokmin sat down on the floor to listen to what was happening.
"I just don't want to talk to him or see him. I know that if I see him, I'll just think that I'm overreacting because that's how it always is. I see his dumb cute face and I forget why I'm mad. He should know that he can't just make out with some random girl at a party and not have consequences," Minghao groaned.
"We can do that," Seokmin nodded.
"Let's get some sleep, guys. Mingyu will probably call us as soon as Jihoon wakes up or something," Seungkwan pulled Minghao off the couch and kicked Seokmin lightly.
Mingyu laid in bed. The lights were off, but Mingyu knew that Soonyoung couldn't sleep either.
"Soonyoung?" Mingyu whispered into the dark. Soonyoung sighed.
"Yeah?" Soonyoung replied.
"I don't know how any of this happened. Hoseok always treated Jihoon like a brother," Mingyu covered his eyes with a hand.
"This is partly my fault. I told Seungcheol that Jihoon would be fine with Hoseok," Soonyoung said softly, moving to turn the desk lamp on. A siren went by their window.
"I never told Jihoon or anyone this, but... his older brother came to me the day before we were going to move in together. Jihoon's brother asked me to look after Jihoon. He keeps things pent up and puts so much pressure on himself. He has a wall that keeps everyone out, but he's self destructing. He cares so much for everyone that he forgets to take care of himself. He's too nice to the people close to him who do him wrong. I just wanted to protect him. He's tried so hard. I just wanted to keep him safe, but I failed tonight," Mingyu's voice wavered. He felt pains in his heart.
