Chapter 7
“Damn! You girls take a long-ass time to get dressed!” Jason said from the bedroom as I got dressed in the bathroom. “You better look sexy when you come out that bathroom, to make up for all that time you’ve taken!”
I chuckle. “So you’re saying I don’t look sexy already?” I ask, teasingly.
As soon as I pull on my dress I hear the bathroom door open and hands snake around my waist. I grin. “You know? You’re lucky I just put up my dress.”
“I’m lucky?” he arches an eyebrow up. “I think I’d be lucky if your clothes were off!” he giggles, nuzzling my neck.
My eyes close and I hear myself whimpering at his seductively. When I come to my senses I look down to see Jason’s hands traveling on my body inside my dress. “Jason…” I whisper, catching his hands, to stop them from moving anywhere, “Please!”
“Marie!” he whines. I think I heard a little edge to his voice. “You told me you’ll think about it, it’s almost a week!” he says throwing his hands in the air.
I sigh. “Honey, I know, but I’m not ready yet.” I walk over to him and caress his shoulders. “Trust me, you’ll be the first to know when I’m ready,” I give him a weak smile.
He looks down into my eyes, and I could tell he’s really stressed. “Marie, we’ve been going out for what? A year now? And I know I’m ready, so why aren’t you?”
“So you’re saying if you’re ready then I have to be too? Ugh! Why are you forcing me Jason? I mean you’re gona be my first and I want to be special, not forced. Please try to understand!” I plead.
“Fine!” he snatches his arm away from my hands and walks out the room. “When you’re ready I’ll be in the car!” he yells and smacks the door shut.
I feel a tear roll down my cheek, and quickly wipe it away, not wanting to cry.
It wasn’t that hard finding the party. A mile away I could hear the shouting and the music and see the lights. The car ride was in silence. Jason basically ignored me, not wanting to talk to me. As soon as we got to the party we went our separate ways. Him to the bar, and me….well I just wandered around, looking for some familiar faces. I didn’t see any. I was just about to give up and turn to go to the bar to Jason when I heard a voice behind me.
“Hey, Marie!”
I turned around to see Randy walking towards me. I put on my best flirty smile, and walked towards him. “Hey,” I say.
“Hey! You finally made it!” he said as he pecks my cheek and slides his arm around my waist.
“Yeah, was just lookin’ for you!”
“Hmmm! It’s only been a day and you already can’t away from me!”
I roll my eyes. Yeah, right!
“Come-on, I wana show you off to some of my friends,” he says as he leads me to the other side of the place.
Wow! This place was amazing! The party was held on the beach. There was a stage, which had a DJ on it and a few dancers. I could see the waves and feel the breeze as we passed it. I turned my attention back to where we were headed. I could see a group of people standing, talking, and drinking. Out of nowhere my stomach does its flips and I felt my heart starting to race. I took a deep breath and turned my attention to Randy. He was talking….but to whom?
“….and so you go to school here?” he asks, looking down at me.
Ohhhh! He’s talking to me!
