Band Director: "Death is not an excuse to miss the contest tomorrow. If you die today, I expect your casket to be placed on the sidelines with your instrument ready to go next to it. When we get on the field, you are required to come back to life and march. AFTERWARDS you have permission to go back to being dead. Until next week's contest."
