In the next week, the rest of the gyfted wake up and join us in what we've come to calling "The Glade", (which was my idea). I've tried to make sense of what's going on here, because with 29 other kids, it can be a bit difficult sometimes. So I've made another list.

1. Michelle and Jacob have started hanging around each other
2. Jonas has a really obvious crush on the new girl, Friday
3. Cassie, the newest gyfted, seems to be hiding something

Today we have our first official class, which I'm rather worried about, as it's about learning how to use guns, which I think would not be very safe, especially around some of these people. (*cough cough Lukas*). I can't wait to learn all the fighting skills though. Last time we had chocolate cake, there was a huge fight over the last piece. Eventually Jonas
stole it. He may not have control of his powers but boy, he fights dirty. He seems really creepy, but around Friday he acts nice and polite. It's so obvious that he likes her, but no one else seems to realise. But I guess since I'm one of the girls and I'm pretty small, none of the boys respect me. Once I learn how to fight, I'll show them I can beat them up. And get more dessert. On an unrelated topic, I've become good friends with a couple of other girls. We've become sort of like our own squad. There's me, Alliya, Rose, Eleanor and Friday, but Jonas has taken to hanging around us and watching everything we do. Except when we go into girls-only areas. He's after Friday I suppose. But it's getting really annoying. On that topic, I keep seeing Lukas turn invisible and follow Sophie around. That guy needs some help.
BEEEEEEEP! The buzzer pulls me out of my thoughts. Must be time for class.
By the time I get down to the gym, where our class is going to be held, everyone is waiting for me already.
"Hurry up idiot" Pat snaps. He annoys me. I make pebbles bounce off his head while I walk over to the bleachers where we wait for our teacher. (A/N: while you're here, search up meanings for Pat. :P )
"Listen up class!" Shouts a heavyset woman with a thick German accent "I am your physical training coach, Mrs Jäger. Today I have some police men and women here to teach you how to shoot a gun" Five young cops step into the room, one wheeling a cart full of guns.
"Don't worry none of them are loaded" says the one a the front. "My name is Corporal Dunst. Welcome to your first official lesson in combat."
