Part 7 - I Think They Just Fell For Each Other

Ugh. I wake up tired and sore from the rough lesson yesterday. Mrs Jäger works us hard. Today we have rock climbing. Sounds fun. I get dressed and stumble down to breakfast. Alliya is waiting there with two mugs.
"Hey." She yawns "Apparently this helps". She hands me the mug. Inside his a pale blue liquid giving off steam. I hesitantly take a sip.
"Weird." I croak "Tastes like toothpaste. But it wakes you up." We grab a plate each of food and go sit on a bench in the courtyard. I have a longstanding theory that nature makes food taste better. Alliya and I talk about food, training and books. Recently, a shipment of book was bought in to fill the rec. room and Annabeth, Alliya and I have been hiding in there ever since. (A/N: the first name that I think their owner will like! Annabeth ur welcome 👍)
BEEEEEEEP! The buzzer sounds, alerting us to the fact that class starts in 5 minutes.
"Goddam!" I swear under my breath. We grab our food and stuff it in our mouths as we run down to the gym and get there just before Mrs Jägen.
Class is goes well, we practice climbing with the ropes to start, but when we try bouldering (climbing without a rope). Things start falling apart. Half the class couldn't even get to the top of the wall, and everybody fell of at least 5 times. Then it's Sophie's go. She gets to the very last hold, and then her grip slips and she falls... straight onto Lukas. That's the second person to be squashed this week! Jacob is still in the medical wing after his... encounter with a flying punching bag. Thankfully, Sophie quickly stands up and helps Lukas up. They at look at each other for a second before Sophie blushes deeply and slinks off to the back of the line. Lukas just stands there looking dazed and confused until Tomas punches him on the arm lightly and whispers into Lukas' ear. Lukas blushes too and runs out of the room.
When class is over, everyone files out of the gym. I wander over to where Rose and Michelle are giggling behind a stack of chairs. There's nothing really to do between classes so I go down to the rec. room and read a book. Halfway through the book I hop up to go get something to eat (yes, I'm always hungry) when I hear Cassie. I walk down the hall and I see Jonas and Cassie standing in the doorway of the boys rec. room. I jump back behind a nearby door to avoid detection and listen to their conversation.
"Cassie you know I can't do that." I hear Jonas saying.
"That's not what I mean Jonas, you know what I want you to do." She hisses back. "You fulfil your half of the deal and I will fulfil my half." I listen, shocked. What are they planning?
"But Cassie, what if..." Jonas doesn't finish his sentence. Cassie lifts him up by the back of his sweater and slams him against the wall.
"That's not gonna happen." She spits at his face. "Just do what I asked you to do, and you will get the reward I promised you. Kapich?"
"Kapich!" Jonas responds, terrified.
