Her Allergies and His Care

*Luke's POV*

An hour had passed and Damon texted me that he was about to reach along with Matt. Steph still had a deathly grip on my shirt and the redness was still there and hadn't faded even a bit instead I think it increased a bit. I love her too much and after the morning incident with Liam I can guess that he is also involved in her past and she doesn't have good memories of him.

I gently removed her hand from my shirt as Damon and Matt had reached already. Covering her up I went down and opened the door for them to enter.

"Hey guys, thanks for coming on a short notice."

"Hey buddy." Damon said

"Hi asshole," that's Matt for you

"You both want to drink something? I know its pretty hot outside"

"Water" both of them said together.

I gave them ice cold water and then we went up to my room where my love was sleeping. I opened the bedroom door and she was curled up in the tiniest possible ball she could curl up into. I went towards her and tried to gently remove the comforter from her head.

"Babe? It's me, Luke. You alright hon?"

She peeked from under the covers and her face was completely red. " Lukey my stomachs aching a lot and I can't feel my cheeks when I press them with my hands. I'm scared babe."

"Ssshhh babe that's why I called Damon and he's here now to check up on you so please lie down straight like a good girl?" I gave her a kiss on the forehead and moved back so Damon could examine her.

*Stephine's POV*

I calmed down a bit when Luke kissed my forehead gently. I shifted my position to what Luke asked me to be in. Damon came forward and offered me a warm smile.

"Hey baby girl."

"Hi brother. Hi Matt"

"Hey sis, you mind if I borrow Luke for a moment while this asshole checks up on you?"

"I don't mind take him with you and don't you dare call Damon an asshole." I hissed the last part to him.

He put his hands in surrender," Come on buddy let's go make something for them"

"Let's go" Luke says, "Oh and Damon if you need me for anything like you know just holler I'll come. Be brave love" with that he exited the room and Damon was left only.

"Okay show me your hands first" Taking my arms he examined them thoroughly and pressed into soft skin, "Do you feel anything Steph?"

"No I can't feel anything"

He sighed and wrote something down on his notepad. Next he examined my face, "Baby girl did you eat mushrooms by any chance? And did you go to a dusty place or in a room that was filled with dust or any place open or close which was surrounded by a lot of dust?" he asked me suddenly.

I thought about it for a while and remembered that it had happened, I looked up with guilt and he raised his eyebrow, "Well, uhh, I ate mushrooms in, umm breakfast and uhh there were 2-3 cabinets which were extremely dirty and dusty I uhh opened them to get few cooking pots out and uhh the dust flew in my face and hands." I looked away immediately after saying this.

He shook his head in disapproval and asked if I was feeling pain anywhere and i told him about my stomach. He raised my shirt a bit a began pressing in different places, I tried to control the pain at first but let out a whimper when I couldn't bear it anymore.

"Did you get the X-Ray done Steph? The one I asked you to get it done?"

"N-no Damon I-i didn't have it done. I was busy and uhh I was planning to come today at your office to get it done."

"Baby girl you can't just neglect your health just like that. It's not good sweetheart. You have two allergies at the same time. I'm telling this all in detail to Luke and that too right now." he said writing down more stuff on his notepad.

"No please Damon, Luke will be mad at me, I'll do what you want me to do but don't tell Luke about me missing the X-Ray and not finishing all the meds which had to be finished by now."

Suddenly the door opened and Luke and Matt came in, "Dont tell me about what babe? Luke asked

Before I could say anything Damon told him about each and everything and while he was on it Luke looking at me with a hard glare which makes people scared. I thought to run to the bathroom and lock the door so I would be safe from his anger, but it looks like he knew my plans and said,"Don't you dare move from that bed Mrs Stephine Luke Blake or else you would be in deep shit more than you are already in." Shit!!! he sounds damn angry.

*Luke's POV*

Damon told me that she ate mushrooms and she is allergic to them so the first allergic reaction was due to eating mushrooms and also she is allergic to dust in high numbers and how she got the dust allergy is another story. While he was telling me about the precautions that need to be taken for the next few days I looked at Steph with a hard glare and I somehow knew that she was about to run away and hide so she can't face my anger, I warned her in the most hardest tone and she just became still knowing that she is in huge trouble after Matt and Damon would leave.

Damon also told me that she still didn't get her X-Ray done which he asked her to get it done as soon as possible. Also she skipped her meds and the bottle should be empty by now but it's still a quarter full. I led them both to the front door as their wives needed them.

"Hey buddy, listen, don't be too hard on her. Here take this jar of ointment and apply it to the area that is red thrice a day until it's completely gone. Don't skip a single day and yeah she's supposed to rest for a few days. No stress, no cooking and movements should not be too much." Damon said

"Thanks man. You're a savior" We did the bro hug and Matt also joined.

They both left and I went up to see what my kitten was upto. I opened the door and saw her in the same position as I left her in. I locked the door and saw her gulp slightly. I went towards her and crossed my arms over my chest, raised my eyebrows at her and waited for her to explain why she did what she did.

"W-why are y-you staring at me l-like that?" she stuttered and I smirked.

"First you answer me babe why are you so damn careless about your health? Why can't you take care of yourself? Why on earth do you neglect your health just to take care of me and this house? To me your health matters the most."

"I-i'm sorry Luke. I didn't mean to do anything like that. I love you too much to make you do any sort of work."

"But babe you're neglecting yourself and I don't fucking like it you understand?"

"Y-yes Lukey I do. I promise I'll do anything you want me to do. I'll listen to you. I don't wanna loose you" she started sobbing.

I took her in my arms gently and rocked her back and forth caressing her silky soft hairs. " You'll do whatever I want you to do?" I asked her and she nodded then I said," fine then you will be on bed rest until this allergy of yours completely goes. Deal?"

"Deal" came her soft voice. I layed her on the bed and took the jar of ointment and started applying gently on the places her skin was red or was turning red. While I was applying it my Angel went back to sleep. After applying the ointment I went to the kitchen, washed my hands and took a hot water bag back to the room and gently placed it on her stomach as she had a very bad pain.

She started to whimper and I softly caressed her hairs and covered her with a comforter with the hot water bag directly on her stomach and went to the kitchen to make her some tomato soup before she wakes up and is hungry. I love her a lot and I don't know if she would tell me her past at night like she promised or would she prolong it again.

I secretly wish she tells me about it so I can support her no matter what and find a damn solution to end her nightmares and the times she hyperventilates and also to end the panic attacks she gets out of nowhere. She is MY ANGEL and I won't let anyone harm her or take her away from me. Just thinking about her brings a smile to my face. She changed me ........
