*Luke's POV*

I saw my wife leave the kitchen, but I held her hand and pulled her towards myself gently taking the glass and keeping it on the counter and circling my arms around her waist looking at her. She on the other hand would not look up at me rather kept twirling her fingers in my shirt.

"Love what's wrong? What are you thinking so deeply since you woke up huh baby?"

She looks up at me briefly and replies, "Nothing is wrong Lukey, I am fine. I promise. Now please let me go I have work to do around the house."

I tightened my hold on her, "Steph...... stop it. Look up at me." She slowly looks up at me and I frown a little as her eyes are puffy. "What has got you so much worried my love?"

*Stephine's POV*

I sigh and question myself if I should ask him or not. I'm so lost in my thoughts that I feel him pull me in for a hug and keep his chin on my head caressing my hair softly and kissing my head few times.

I decided to tell him, "Babe.."

"Yes lovely?"

"You will never leave me right?"

"What!? Ofcourse not baby. Where did this thought even come from in your mind?"

"I thought after last night ...."

"I will never leave you darling. And it was not your fault so why would I leave you huh?"

"I'm tainted that's why"

He pulls back a little and cups my cheek making me look into his eyes, "You're far from being tainted darling. You're my precious pure baby doll." Saying this he gently kissed my forehead.

*Luke's POV*

I felt her body start to get weak so I took her into my arms and carried her bridal style to our bedroom.

I laid her on the bed and got in with her and held her close. I kissed her forehead and she snuggled into my arms more.

I caressed her hair and slowly we both drifted off to a peaceful sleep. That is until I head my phone ring and I woke up silencing it before Steph woke up.

I saw the caller ID and saw that it was a group call. I sighed and switched off my phone and went back to cuddling my wife and falling back to sleep.

I woke up to my body being shaked. I looked to my side and wife was shaking my body. "What's wrong babe. Why are you waking me up from such a good sleep?"

"Lukes it's already 2pm. Let's get up now or we won't be able to sleep at night"

I smirked and pulled her body onto my body and huskily whispered near her ear, " why baby girl you don't want to spend the night making love with your husband?"

She blushed and slapped my chest, "yahh. Since when did you get like this?"

I chuckled and softly kissed her neck kissing her sweet spot making her moan and then kiss and nibble onto her lower earlobe.

"Tell me baby. You don't want to spend the night with your husband in bliss"

"Luke I... umm I do baby"

I leaned in and kissed her lips passionately. I saw her closing her eyes and responding to the kiss. She pulled back for air and I gave a small peck on her lips and let her get up.

"Go get freshed baby. I'll see what to prepare for lunch."

I saw her pout cutely, "Lukey I'm not hungry."

"You have to eat baby girl. Even if it is a little bit. Come on go get refreshed"

I kissed her one last time and pecked her forehead and headed downstairs while turning on my phone.
