Breakfast and Miss Grumpy

*Luke's Pov*

As I went down Matt and Damon were waiting for me and the doorbell rang. I went and opened the door and it was Sophia and Diana who came with David and Camilla. Me and David did a bro hug. "Hey dude how is married life? And where is your wife?"

"Married life is good bro. Stephine is just getting ready, I had to wake her up a few minutes ago. Oh and by the way guys she will be really grumpy because I woke her up and she did not wake up on her own so if she does not reply then just leave it."

Everyone nodded their heads and at the same time I saw my gorgeous wife coming down the steps looking slightly irritated but put on a smile when she saw we had company. I went towards her and wrapped my hand around her waist. "Honey that's David and his wife Camilla. I told you about them remember? And guys this is my Stephine"

At first she just nodded then went and hugged the girls one by one and asked how they were doing. Next she hugged the guys one by one and shook David's hand.

"Alright guys you wanna take your own cars or 2 cars? One for us guys and one for the girls Steph can drive. Right honey?"

Steph looked at me and nodded, "Yeah I'll drive the girls car no issues"

"Then that's what we're gonna do. Steph will drive the girls and i am driving for the guys, either of you can sit in the front but no fighting like the assholes you are."

As soon as I finished talking we looked around and Matt was missing and all of us face palmed ourselves knowing he would be in the first seat and we all laughed at his silly behaviour. We decided to go to the new waffle place a few blocks away.

I went towards my wife and kissed her forehead, "I love you babe. Drive safe and if I go too fast ask one of the girls to call us and I will slow down. Alright?"

"Yes I will do that. I love you too."

*Stephine's POV*

I am surprised Luke is being so patient with me, and seeing the girls made my mood go better. I am nervous thinking about last night, what would he have thought of me? Would he leave me? A zillion thoughts were running through my mind but I pushed them back so I can focus on driving and staying safe like Luke asked me to do so.

Since Diana is heavily pregnant so we let her have the front seat so she can sit comfortably and Sophia and Camilla decided to play songs one by one and we jammed to songs all the way and it was super fun.

Camilla and David are really cool people just like Damon and Diana and Matt and Sophia. I'm glad my husband has such good and supporting friends except one ..... Liam. I hate him to the core and I am scared he will try and get Luke to hate me and leave me.

As we reach the waffle place I park the car right behind Luke's and we see the guys waiting and they rush to their wife's door and help them out and Luke came to my side and kissed my head," you doing okay my love?"

He is just so cute I can't get enough of it. "Yes I am okay do not worry babe."

We all went in and everyone sat with their partners and ordered breakfast. I had chocolate waffles and a chocolate shake. All of the girls had the same and the guys chose a double size pancakes with coffee.

While the food was getting prepared we all talked and got to know each other and my headache was coming back, but I did not want to tell anyone about it so I just held onto Luke's hand tighter and he whispered in my ear,"is everything okay? You are squeezing my hand too tight."

So I had to whisper back too," I am okay do not worry. Last night's talk just came back to my head nothing else."

He nodded and the guys went back to discussing their work and we girls listened to their talks. Soon our food came and I ate a quarter and drank my shake and felt full so kept the utensils back in the plate. All of the guys looked at me worried.

I looked at all of them with a raised eyebrow, "What?"

Damon replied to me, " why aren't you eating more? You ate so little. What's going on?"

I sighed and shook my head, " nothing is going on. Can you guys stop being so paranoid for once? I feel full. I am not hungry anymore. Jeez. Continue with your food"

Luke squeezed my leg in return. "We are just worried for you because you ate so less. No need to snap at us."

"I didn't mean to snap at you guys. I am full so please continue to eat your breakfast."

They all nodded and continued to eat and I leaned into my husbands shoulder and holding his arm. He looked at me,"you are sleepy babe?"

I shook my head and whispered, "no luke."

He decided to drop it and continued to eat and occasionally fed me my waffles a little in between and I ate it without a complain. Remaining of my waffles he ate it. Once we were done with the food we decided to head back to the house as Diana and Sophia wanted to rest.

This time Luke, Damon, Diana and me went in one car and Matt, Sophia, David and Camilla went in the 2nd car and planned to reach our house.

Once we got into the car Diana fell asleep as she was really tired and Damon kept looking at me with hard eyes and I thought he found out what I was hiding.

I turned back and looked at him," something wrong Damon?"

He sighed and replied," something is off about you. Are you in some sort of pain or are you not feeling well?"

Hearing this Luke looked at me for a second and then focused back onto the road. I turned back to face the front and replied," nothing is off about me I feel alright."

He nodded and after a while said,"Hey luke buddy don't forget to book the appointment again. I told you I need to discuss the blood test results and do another check up."

Luke just nodded," Sure I will do it or you book it from your end and let me know the time and day and I will come to your office with Steph."

"I am not going for any other appointment. I have work to do Luke and Damon."

Damon looked at me," You don't have a choice in this sis. This needs be done. Either of us are not messing with your health any more."

I got more annoyed and folded my arms,"we'll see." And I looked out of the window ignoring the both of them talking.

*Luke's POV*

After the whole conversation I got worried for my wife. What if it is something serious. I looked at Damon through the rear view mirror and he motioned me to calm down and then I looked at my wife who was looking outside ignoring me and Damon.

When we reached our house the others also pulled up and David and Camilla said their goodbyes and went towards their car. Damon decided to stay until Diana woke up and Sophia was getting sleepy so Matt decided to head home as well.

Steph went upstairs and changed into her home clothes and curled up on the bed. I decided to let her be until Damon goes home then I will talk to her.

I went down and me and Damon played games for about 2 hours when Diana woke up and they both said their goodbyes too and headed home. After seeing them off my wife went into the kitchen kitchen pored some juice for herself, but she was being really quiet.
