honestly i'm not really sure why i'm posting this, but _I_magine_ said that it'd be a good idea cause it is "such a good story" (i do not think it is that great, it's okay though) plus, i don't have much on my account ._.
this is a writing assignment i had in english last year, i think i got like 19 or 20 out of 21 marks for this (hehe i'm kinda proud) it's about the continuation from the video above, to let us write about what happens next. but they said to write like 250 words and i wrote 800 lol :)
this is a slightly edited version though, since i can proofread it again now.oh, and the story is kind of sad, too.
but first:
please watch the video or you wouldn't understand shitso i guess here it is, enjoy my weird imagination.

Jason couldn't hear very well. He left his home to work in the city. He has hopes and dreams but found it hard to realize his dreams. He wanted to find a girlfriend or at least a friend in the city... He has been "chatting" with Stacey from the building next door through signs. Finally they met face to face, what happens next? Finish the story in 250-300 words.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
Sometimes, someone hurts you so bad, it stops hurting at all. Until something makes you feel again, and then it all comes back. Every word. Every hurt. Every moment.
For five years had Jason Quill swam in this numbness, the world around him didn't make sense anymore. Five years since he had found happiness and lost it. Five years since the breakup.
Now five years later, they stood face to face, just like how they had started.
Except Stacey was in another man's arms. And Jason wasn't even surprised.
"Oh, um... Jason. Hi." She wouldn't meet his eyes.
The man next to her reacted, "Who is this guy, Stace?" His voice gruff, lifting up two clenched fists and continued, "want me to beat him up?"
Jason was about to give him a sarcastic reply when Stacey spoke up, "No! Tom don't!" She paused, "could you... give us a minute?" Tom looked reluctant but nodded, giving Jason a glare.
After he left, she let out a breath, "Jase, please, we need to—"
"Don't 'Jase' me." Jason responded coldly, "and no, we do not need to talk. Let's just forget this ever happened and you keep kissing that great boyfriend of yours." He spat, jutting a finger in his direction.
Stacey took a step back at his hostility and looked down, nervous, "You know me, I never like to stay in one relationship! I-I like the thrills of love!" She defended, a frown pulled down her face as if she didn't really believe her words. "I don't stay—"
"In relationships! I know!" Jason flared up, "I just wish I had known when we first started this." He muttered bitterly.
Stacey gulped, she had really broken his heart. The feeling of remorse and regret churned wildly in her stomach. Hesitantly, she managed to mumble out, "D-Do you want to do this again? You know, just to um, talk things out."
For a moment, Jason had an expression of as if she had just asked him to jump off a cliff. But when he thought about it, it was true that he really wanted some answers, like why was Stacey acting like this if she truly never cared about him. But that wasn't something that they could discuss right then. Slowly, his grimace melted into an uncertain frown. "Alright... Only if you tell me the truth—about everything."
Stacey's eyes widened in surprise as she never expected him to say yes. "Of course. The harbour? At 6 tomorrow night?"
Jason nodded, hastily walking away after a goodbye to ensure he doesn't have any change of plans.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
"So do you understand? I want you back."
Her quiet plea echoed around the empty harbour. It was a beautiful night; peaceful and serene. Jason had remembered they used to come here for dates, or just to watch the gliding ships and boats. Never had he imagined they'd meet here again like this.
"Oh yeah?" His hard stare bored into Stacey's, "then what's up with Tom? And probably the dozens of other guys?"
"I don't know!" She exclaimed. "Maybe they're there to fill the hole in me after you've left!"
"The hole I left? What about me? What about the hole that's ten times bigger than yours that you so carelessly left?" Jason fought back, standing up. "Whatever just..." He pauses as he calmed down, "just forget about this." He stepped forward to leave.
"No wait, Jase!" Stacey hollered, "I'm sorry, I really am." She looked down, unsure, "do you want to, um, do this again?"
Jason observed her, then finally nodded once, and turned to leave.
But he has already made a decision.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
Another night, another story. They both stared and stared and stared until tears were streaming down their faces. The eyes of the broken-hearted man. The set of the guilt-stricken girl.
Finally, Stacey reached behind her to pull out a sign.
Hi...
Jason's lips quivered at the familiarity, and passed her a folded note of his own. With one last look at her, he turned and walked away.
Stacey wanted to call out at him, but couldn't find her voice when she unfolded the note.
I'm sorry.
It was simply worded. Two words and seven letters, but she understood. And she looked up to see his fading silhouette blurring with her forlorn tears.
