chapter 35: three words with a sweet mashup

Gerard's P.O.V.

oh my god. she's a-alive. is she mad at me for trying to hurt her sister? I hope not, if she is, I didn't mean it its just I knew she was here and I was getting tired of Claudia's excuses. she just stood there watching me, I dont know if it's just me or what but she looks even more beautiful than before...

"is that really you?" I asked her and she smiled

"yea." she says smiling again.

I ran up to her to hug her and she smelled like vanilla I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back. I can't believe she's here, it all seems too good to be true but I was hugging her for gods sake!

Gerard: "how are you here?" I asked her even tho I know it was Carrie who brought her back.

Emelia: "Carrie. it was all her." she says as she looks at me in the eye.

Gerard:"I'm so glad your back."I said to her and I heard her sniff.

Emelia:"me too...uh Claudia told me about...Lindsey..." she says, I completely forgot about that.

Gerard:"Oh, well now we can be together we can spend the rest of our day just hanging out.....I hope.." I said, everything was going great until I remembered what the man said while he was choking me the other day.

*FLASHBACK*

man: "guess what your little friend will come back but guess what I'm gonna kill her just like how I'm gonna kill you."

Gerard: "o-over m-my d-dead b-body." I said as his grip got harder and I started feeling dizzy.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Emelia:"Gerard?you ok?" she said as she was waving her hand in front of me.

Gerard: "Oh sorry, yea I'm ok I was just remembering something.

Emelia:"okay...so what do you mean by 'i hope' ." she says as she put her hand on my shoulder.

Gerard:"remember the day when we were on our date and we both saw the old man standing behind the tree..." I said and saw fear in her eyes.

"well one day I stalked him and his family so he started choking me until Carrie came and saved me, he was telling me how you were coming back and he said he'll murder you the same way he'll murder me. when I was stalking them the old man took a sip of some red liquid and became young so you have to be careful..." I said to her and saw tears and fear in her eyes.

Claudia:"you never told me that..." she said.

emelia:"oh my god. he's gonna kill me....and you...I'm gonna die again." she said then started sobbing into her hands. i didn't like seeing her upset.

Gerard:"no. your not gonna die. no I just got you back. ill protect you, don't worry." I said to her and pulled her close to me.

Claudia:"umm I think I have something in my eye so I'm going to the bathroom..." she said as she left the room with just me and em.

Em continued sobbing so I started rubbing her shoulder and placed my head on hers while singing to her.

"if I could be with you tonight, I would sing you to sleep, never

let them take the light behind your eyes, one day I'll lose this

fight, as we fade in the dark, just remember you will always

burn as bright, cuz the world is ugly, but your beautiful to me,

I stopped singing And she stopped sobbing, she looked into my eyes and I made my move, I kissed her, I felt her warm soft lips against mine. in my mind I imagined fireworks.

Gerard:"I love you."

Emelia:*smiles* "I love you too."
