"yes." I said to him and he hugged me tightly, "but only if I get to see him again." I say to him and he let out a sigh, "fine, I guess your old enough." dad said, "thank you" I say to him and gave him a bone crashing hug, I grabbed my phone and asked my sister for Gerard's number,"ok it's 619-245-3322" she said and I called him right away and I hear his friendly voice,

"Hello?" he said and I felt butterflies in my stomach, "hi Gerard, it's Em." I say to him, "oh hey! what's up!?" he said, "um nothing much, listen um ha I was wondering if you weren't busy that way we could hang out or something..." I said, "cool, so...like a date?" he says, I blushed right away, lucky for me he hasn't seen me blush, I don't like it when I blush, "sure if you want it to be..." I said and he giggled, "ok but wait let me say it the right way, Em? Will you go on a date with me?" I covered my mouth with my hands to not let out an excited scream, "yes" I said and he giggled again, "ok I'll pick you up in 30 min." he says, "ok"I said and we hanged up, I rushed to my closet and put on some black skinny jeans with an msi t-shirt with my favorite black long boots, "so your gonna go hang out with him?" Claudia asks, "yup" I said "cool" she said, I smiled at her and put on a few make-up and some perfume, I was ready, my dad walked in smiling and walking up to me all worried,"make sure to Carry this around, I want you to be safe." he said handing me a can of pepper spray, "dad I won't need this." I say to him, "whether you need it or not I want you carry it. I can't lose you." he says, "dad-" I say then he interrupted my sentence no getting me finish, "take it." he says, I sigh and give him a hug and a felt his tears splatter on my shirt, we hear a knock on the door and both turned to look at the door, "have fun kiddo." he says, "thanx dad." I head to the door and opened it and there he was looking cute, he was some bright red roses with a big smile."Hey" he says, "hi" I said, "Emelia come upstairs." said Claudia, "excuse me, you can come in if you want." I tell him, "oh go ahead, ill just wait for you in the car." I smiled "ok, be right back." I said to him, I head upstairs where Claudia was waiting for and I see her standing there, "what" I ask her, "don't forget it's his birthday today" she said, I was shocked, I had no idea it was his birthday, I went back downstairs to meet him in the car and then we headed to the park for a walk.
