It begins on the discovery of common ground.
Smiles and laughter shared and fond memories found.
Then the fights begin and the memories fade.
Forgiveness still there but the fate of the friendship is already paved.
Trust is broken and so are hearts.
As the two best friends start to grow apart.
Rumours start and only one remains on top.
The one who deserved better was the one who's heart stopped.
Lonely days and lonely breaks.
Only one knew what was at steak.
Being on top was her only goal...
But the friend with loyalty in her heart kept her soul.
She travels alone knowing more than she shows.
Because she learnt that expectations is really what ruins us all.
