Chapter 1

As Mae's phone played the 'Time to wake up' song, she slowly started to get off the bed to head downstairs. This day was mostly likely a normal day for the 17 years old teenager that was Mae. Well, that's what she thought, but little did she know One Direction, her favorite bad of all time, was coming to her town by the end of the year. She quickly ate breakfast and got dressed. She headed to school with her bestfriend, Helen. She was quite the only one who truly understood her obsession with One Direction. They knew eachother for now 3 years and they never had a single fight. Nothing could break their friendship, or that's what they thought.

Mae took to see her texts at her locker. She saw Niall had tweeted announcing a major tour at the end of the year. Her heart stopped, she couldn't believe it as she read the name of her city on the list in the link Niall posted. June 26th. They would be there on June 26th. She ran to Helen and yelled the news. A half-second later, they were both jumping up and down like the happiest to ever walk on Earth. Just as they were at Mae was about to call her mother, the bell rang to call everyone back to class.

2 months later

The contest was about to start, Mae and Helen needed to answer both 10 questions and they'll have a chance to win VIP tickets to the show. They had 40% chance to win, they were so close to their dreams it felt quite surreal. Sunddenly the questions started to pop up to their computer screen. At the end of the 10 questions, as they expected, they got a note of 10/10. It was sure if they won already, there was a lot of other people enterring this contest. They waited the 15 minutes they were told it would take to choose the winners. Mae held Helen's hand so hard that her friend couldn't feel it anymore. They were waiting for the phone call from the radio station who gave the tickets. After a moment that felt like an century, the phone rang. Mae quickly pick up the phone and answered, she could feel it. Her dream was about to be confirmed. She could barely breathe and talked to the host of the show as he said the words : « You won the tickets, congratulation! »

On the date of the show

Mae and Helen were in line with their VIP tickets in hands to meet the boys of their dreams. Both side of them were screaming girls who just like them, wanted to meet their idols so badly. The time passed by so fast the girls didn't realised just how close they were to their dreams. Finally the body guard let them enter the room where the five boys were standing warmly welcoming the two bestfriends.

As always, Helen was quite a bit shy, but the fact of being with her outgoing best friend that was Mae helped her a lot. Mae went straight to Harry because he was her favorite with his perfect curls and his green eyes. They talked for a while, but then the bodyguard said it was time to leave. They took a picture, Helen between Niall and Louis and Mae between Liam and, of course, Harry. Just before they left the room, Mae felt a hand holding her wrist. It was Harry. He looked right into the eyes and said : « Before you leave, would you let me your phone number if you want to go out? » Was it even happening? Harry Styles was asking Mae out. She could feel her face turning to red as she agreed and gave him her phone number. She was speechless. So was Helen. They left the room and looked at eachother with that look, the same they had when they knew they were coming or when they won those VIP tickets, it was the look that said : « Is that even happening? To good to be true! »
