[chapter one]alluring

[her crimson red curls bounced up and down with each step she took]

the first official day of summer and the losers club sat in their local diner listening to the soft music playing on the jukebox, their loud talking over powered the music but no one seemed bothered by that as they were just a few children enjoying their milkshakes and the company of close friends,stanley who was trying to focus on the song playing heard the bell on the diner door jingle and out of instinct he averted his attention toward it

and there she was wearing her classic fire red lipstick like always,it complimented her red hair that still evidently stayed in tact although the wind outside was insane.not one of her curly locks was out of place

her crimson red curls bounced up and down with each step she took,stanley never found interest in the girl he saw at church once a week but he did find her quite alluring

she made her way toward the losers table slowling down as she neared them,with that her feet stopped moving and she came to a stop as did her curls that once bounced

"hello stanley" she spoke blowing a bubble out of her bubblegum,stanley felt his heart beating out of his chest at her sudden interaction with him

not once in the years he's known her has she spoken to him beside from the occasional forced greetings at church of course

"uh hi lolita"he stuttered,he sounded like bill and that made richie and eddie laugh from their seats in the booth watching lolita holly have this effect on stanley was amusing to the losers

she looked toward the two giggling boys and smiled at them both, richie bit his tongue trying not to say an inappropriate joke about how nice her breast looked in that shirt

turning back to stan she pulled the bubblegum out of her mouth slowly while she stared him straight in his brown eyes,she held the bubblegum on the tip of her finger for a few seconds continuing to stare into his soul and with that she placed the bright red goop in his gaped mouth,the frozen stiff boy didn't have time to react as she was already sitting at another booth most likely waiting for her friend to arrive

"spit that out!" eddie yelled disgusted by the scene that just unfolded before his eyes "that is so filthy,sharing bubblegum with someone"

stan snapping out from his trance spit the bubblegum out into his hand before shamelessly sticking it under the table where other pieces of bubblegum from previous teenagers were placed

"what flavour?" richie questioned leaning over the table closer to stan,mike hit the glasses wearing boy in the back of the head not having it with his stupid question

"cherry"stanley muttered,richie snickered as cruel jokes flooded the boy's head at the word cherry

"why don't you go and pop hers?" he amusingly retorted in his british accent,everyone looked shocked at the joke but they all knew it was coming even stan who regretted telling richie the flavour of the bubblegum

the rest of the time spent at the diner consisted of friendly arguing,laughter and amusement along with stanley occasionally turning back to watch lolita holly drink her milkshake with her friend brandi wilson the girl who wore red lipstick just as much as lolita.
