GAHHH EXADORLION CREATED ANOTHER ANIMATIC
_____________________________________i opened my eyes AGAIN (i think i started the other chapter the same way whoops) and realized that i was in the car. I was lying in the backseat with my head on someone's lap and my legs on the other side.
I shifted my head to look at who was stroking my head but gasped at the effort. Pain shot up my leg. How had they gotten me into the car without me screaming in pain, i dont know.
"Shhhh, keep your head down or you'll faint," i heard Martha's voice say above me.
"Hey Alex," Laf said as he turned to face me from the front seat. "How's the leg?"
"Shiiiiiit," I groaned.
"How bout you try to get some more sleep?" George said from the drivers seat. I nodded even though he couldnt see me.
Why hadnt they just called an ambulence?
Is I started to drift, my eyes laid on the window. For me, watching the trees, houses, and buildings were relaxing for me. Suddenly, I saw the hospital pass by. If we werent going to the hospital where were we going?
"Hey, Martha," I said, my voice cracking. "We just passed the hospital. Where are we going?"
"We have to go to someone...specific," she said slowly, choosing her words carefully. "Are you feeling good?"
I nodded slowly because I felt like my head was about to explode. The pain in my leg was killing me. Was this not important enough to call an anbulance or something?
~time skip~
By the time the car stopped, my eyes were shut tight. I felt faint, probably from all the blood loss. I felt a pair of hands lift me up from the car. I bit my lip in an attempt to not cry out from the pain. I felt George lift me up, bridal style. My breathing was heavy and I felt extremely tired. I cracked my eyes open to see where we were.
We were at a different hospital? It looked familiar. I thought for a moment and then it hit me.
This was the hospital where I had gone to when I had first fallen. We were in our old town.
But why?
As we walled into the building, I realized that a piece of cloth had been tied around my leg, hiding the deep gash.
We approached the main desk, getting weird stares from a few people.
At this point, there was a loud pounding in my ears, preventing me from hearing anything. I kept my eyes shut tight because I also had a migraine. (or maybe the author just cant think think of what to write)
A few minutes later, I felt myself being placed on a bed or some sort. Suddenly, I felt it start to move. I was on a stretcher.
I bit my tongue in an effort to keep a groan in but failed. The pain was getting too much to handle now.
I felt the stretcher stop. (i dont know how hospitals work so....) I was moved from the stretcher to a bed, causing great pain from my leg. I few needles were stuck into me.
I felt a few hands inspect me before one person took of the cloth covering my leg. I gasped at the sudden cold hitting the wound, making the pain worse.
I heard a few voices talking, but I couldnt make out any words.
I finally descided to open my eyes again and immediately regreting it. The pounding in my skull became stronger.
Slowly, I looked around the hospital room. A doctor was near my leg, inspecting it. I recognized him from all those years ago. He was the same doctor who had saved my life.
Martha was sitting next to me, worried look plastered in her face. George and Laf were standing behind her. I caught Laf's eye and he gave me a small smile.
The doctor began to talk again. If I tried hard enough, I could understand him over the pounding in my head.
"So we'll have to do some surgery now and he'll have to stay here for...at least 3 weeks." (i dunno how long it should be)
Before I stopped listening completely, I caught a few more words. "Metal...Old...replace..."
What did that mean?
.
Suddenly, I felt a nurse put a mask on me. (u know those clear mask things that go over the nose and mouth) I didnt think that we would do the surgery immeadiately.Martha thurned to face me and gave me an encouraging smile. She took me hand and squeezed it before a nurse ushered the three of them out.
My mind was starting to become foggy.
"Can you count from 10 to 1 for me, Alexander?" A nurse asked.
I nodded and began to count. Before I even reached 5 I was out.
