Chapter 6: Dancing in the Dark

Ok so this chapter is a bit long, but long is good right!? Anyway here you go. Sorry this chapter came out so late.

(David's POV)

God, that performance was nerve racking. I looked over and Chloe was there smiling with Patty. I hoped to death that what Bella muttered wasn't true. Maybe what the others suspected was true. Bella and Alex looked so... evil.

"I'm not the only one who was somewhat shaken by Bella and Alex right?" I said.

" I hear ya loud and clear," Chloe said.

"I still think that they sound familiar!" Patty stated. I was really worried, and wondering too.

'Were they really apart of the corrupted league?'

I ignored it for now. We all walked out of the theater with smiles.

"Let's go to The Coffee Bean guys, Hot cocoa on me," Syd said. I cheered and Patty started laughing.

We walked across the campus to the outdoor mini mall on the other side of the street. "So." I said nudging Brady as we were crossing the street, "I heard we are going to have three new boys coming to our class. Do you know who they are?"

"No. Do you?" Brady asked, shrugging.

I shook my head. "But Syd does know two of them," I said smirking.

"Hey, are you guys coming," Sara yelled from the doorway of the Coffee Bean. Brady and I quickly jogged to catch up with our friends.

"I'll order, you guys grab a table," Syd said pulling out her wallet.

Chloe shrugged, "Fine by me. We'll go grab the round booth in the corner 'kay."

Syd nodded and turned away as we walked towards the booth.

Seven minutes later, Syd came back with a tray and our hot chocolate. She had a stricken look on her face. "What's wrong," I asked.

"Its nothing." She replied shaking her head. "Let's go back to the campus and eat in our dorms. We also need to go shopping for the dance. It's in two days."

With that she stormed out of the small shop.

"What did I say?" I asked. Everyone just shrugged.

(Quick New boy POV)

I think I knew the curly haired girl from somewhere but I just couldn't place it. I can heard them talking about a dance for the new school me and my friends are going to. I ran my hand through my black hair. I guess it was pretty convenient that they were here. Oh well. I could've talked to them about it but I guess I'm a little too shy to do so. I opened my phone and quickly called my friend. "Hey remember that girl we went to school with...Yeah she's blind...Yeah, she is going to Elwin High. They are going shopping for the dance...Ok meet me there." My friend and I deicided to meet them at the mall. I guess I'll just see what happens when I get there.

(Back to David's POV)

"So, from what I heard, the three new boys coming to our class are Emmanuel, Dylan and Jake." I said. Syd's head perked up quickly and we all looked at her.

"What?!" She said with a confused tone. Chloe just laughed. Sara was smirking immensely at Syd and Patty just looked confused.

"I know two of them from somewhere, I just don't remember where," syd said with an intense stare.
