(Patty's POV)

I walked into school just like another day. Almost completely forgetting what happened yesterday. That is until the same freshman girls from before were looking at the same magazine from before. I sighed and walked over to my computer obsessed friend.

He handed me a bright blue flyer, "Check this out man, battle of the bands. The best band gets to play at the winter dance." I smiled as my four other friends came along as Brady said that.

Chloe put her hand on my shoulder and smiled, "We gonna start a band or what? We all already have some experience." I smiled and nodded.

"But we need to find out who plays what," I stated.

The bell ring interrupted our conversation and David spoke, "We'll figure this out later, let's go to my place and we can work in the garage, I'm sure my parents won't mind." I nodded and went to class.

[time skip]

English was boring as usual. I found my friends at our normal lunch table and sat down. David began to talk to us about some video game again.

I looked over and saw the three bullies walking our way, "Guys, heads up." I warned.

Kelsey lingered over to Chloe and swiped the brown bag away from her again. "Better have something good weeb," she said with a smirk. I noticed there were two new girls with them this time.

"Who are they," I asked.

Ava smiled and said, "Bella and Alex, our new friends." David looked slightly annoyed as she threw Chloe's lunch on the floor. They all walked away laughing.

"Anyone getting the deja vu feeling," Sara asked no one in particular.

"Whatever," Syd said. I sighed and continued to eat. 'This is gonna be a looong school year'. I thought to myself.

[after school]

We all walked over to David's house and went into the garage. I heard his mom call out, "tell me if your friends need anything sweetie," He groaned and his face turned a bright red as we all laughed.

"Okay guys, so let's establish what instruments we'll all play," Brady said after the laughing died down. "Patty can play the drums since he has so much energy, Syd you play bass and be singer since you have the experience. Chloe will play keytar because she did play piano. Sara will play flute because some songs ya know, I'll play electric guitar and David can play acoustic guitar." Brady explained.

"Alright guys, let's try this song," I beat on the drums and we all started to play.

Syd:

Beware, Beware be skeptical

Of their smiles, their smiles of plated gold

Deceit so natural

Chloe and David:

But a wolf in sheep's clothing is more than a warning

Syd:
