(Chloe's POV)

I was caught up in the celebration so much that I almost didn't realize everyone staring at the broken up stage. From the back of the ruble a light started to make the whole room turn white. The Corrupted League emerged and everyone stared in shock.

"Where's the Elemental Six when you need them," one girl cried out.

"Who are they," another boy called.

Chase tapped me on the shoulder.

"Time to suit up guys," he whispered. I motioned for my friends to follow me outside.

We all transformed quietly and entered the party.

"Nice to see you losers again," Syd said. All the students in the room turned to see us standing the the entryway to outside.

I realized that Jake, Dylan and Emmanuel were staring at us in the weirdest way. And Katie, Jason, and Jenna were all gone. I frowned, but shrugged it off.

"Last time I checked none of you are a water elemental, so why are you raining down on this parade," I exclaimed.

Astrid looked up at me coldly.

"It's quite simple darling.. Mara you know what to do."

A flash came into the room and everything but the corrupted league and us were frozen in time.

Syd looked at Dylan, Emmanuel, and Jake and muttered under her breathe. "No.."

"Whoopsie, didn't mean to scare you by freezing you little boyfriend there," Mara said with a smirk.

Syd snarled and looked at the rest of us. "You ready guys," she said.

We nodded and charged at our respective enemies.

I ran at Zagan and threw one of my shurikens at him.

He dodged at retaliated with a blast of lightning.

I pushed myself off the ground with a blast of air. I rapidly threw my other two shurikens at him and struck his shoulder with one of them.

He cried out and turned to Astrid. "Astrid, make it a game," he shouted.

Astrid gave a knowing smile and shot a blinding ray of light causing us all to stop in our tracks and shield our eyes. She addressed Samari. "Now listen up. Mara is going to unfreeze the students only if you agree to our little challenge."

Samari frowned. "What is it," she demanded.

"We all have our elements we have to fight so we are going to turn this into a battle show. One by one we will fight each other. If you win they go free," Astrid said pointing to the students.

"Fine," Samari said in agreement. "Zagan against Aria first. You and I will go last."

Mara unfroze the students and gathered them in one area.

Zagan and I matched up on the stage and started to fight again but now with everyone watching. I summoned my shurikens and threw them at him with full force. He dodged one but another sliced his hand. The third sailed above his head.

Rain began to pour and lightning struck near my foot stinging my shin. I lowered onto one knee and clenched my teeth. Summoning two more shurikens I cautiously rose up. As soon as I was on my feet I threw the shurikens at him with the rest of my energy. One cut his chin and the other sliced through his outfit, cutting his stomach. I fell to my knees as Zagan walked towards me clutching his stomach.
