House of cards.

It was like trying to breathe underwater

Complete madness, and yet she'd never felt more aware

Maybe people are right in saying that one day the whole thing will come tumbling down and that all we seem to be, all that we really are- is a fucked up generation based on a house of cards 

One that might tumble down really soon

Or should I say

One that is tumbling down 

We're so scared of feeling empty and numb and we're terrified of the future

Or the fact that we may not have a future

We're terrified 

but people laugh at weakness and you don't want to be laughed at

So you punch someone instead

We're the 'angry generation'

Well that's what I've been told

But we've never been so scared

We've never wanted love more

Never wished for hate less

And we're so damn afraid of letting go

Because you can't let go if that's the only thing you have.
