Jen's POV
I wake up next to Josh smiling down on me.
"What are you smiling about?" I ask
"You" he says
One simple word made my hear beat a thousand times faster
"You ready for today Ms.Lawrence?" he says
"A little nervous" I say
"You shouldn't be. Your gonna do great." Josh says referring to the oscars today
"And you? Your nominated for 'Best Male Performance!" I say happy
"I know." he says smiling
Then we hear a door open.
"Must be Faith" I say
"Hey you know Faith's never met our parents and brothers before." Josh says
"Your right. Aren't they coming for the oscars?" I ask
"I think so- oh wait my dad's calling"
While Josh talks to his dad I go downstairs an see Faith flipping through channels on the tv.
"Morning" Faith says
"Morning"
"Where's dad?"
"Talking to your grandpa."
"Have I met him?" she asks
"No but they'll be here for the Oscars and your Grammys." I say
"Cool, what about your side of the family?"
"They're coming too, I have 2 brothers, Ben an Blaine, your uncles, and Josh has a younger brother, Conor he's also your uncle."
"Ok- oh is it ok is Jack sits by us at the Oscars?" she asks
"Sure you know he's like family!" I say
"Ok thanks." she says.
-2 hours later-
Josh's POV
Our parents should be here in a little bit, Jack just came over and they're watching tv. Faith stands up and starts to talk.
"Hey we have to work on the song." she says
"Oh yea that's right let's go to microphone room." Jack says standing up and following Faith upstairs to the
room.
"Hey when you guys here a doorbell y'all need to come down cause that's gonna be our parents!" Jen yells
"Alrighty!" Faith says.
So they started to work on songs and I went to go check up on them a couple of times to make sure nothings going on. I guess the father in me is coming out! :)
"Josh just leave them alone nothing gonna happen! I wish something did but it's probably not gonna happen their just best friends!" Jen says
"Remember, we were best friends and now we have a kid and are dating!" I say holding her hips.
"Yes but we are older an they are just teenagers!" Jen says
"I guess but-" I get cut off by the doorbell ringing
"Well your on a have to wait, our family is here." Jen says getting out I my grip and running to the door, I can't help but laugh. She gives me a glare before opening the door.
"Jen!" Jen's mom says
"Hi mom!" she says and hug her.
So we all say hi to each other and Faith and Jack haven't came down yet. We all sit on the couch an my moms the first to speak.
