Anna saw the terrified look on my face. "What's wrong?" She said whilst starting to panic. "It's just... well... that picture on the poster is a picture of Willow and Jenny Helen." I say. "Yeah, she's like my favourite rider. I look up to her. But that dose not explain the terrified look on your face." She says.
"Well, Willow is the dam to my colt Hero and Jenny Helen is my birth mother." I was nearly in tears when I here a know on the door.
"I'll get that." She said, but she didn't need to because the door swung open and Georgie sat on my bed.
"Hi I'm Georgie, Stacey's sister." She said confused by the look of Anna's gobsmacked face. "Nice to meet you to." Georgie said realising that she was not got to get a response from Anna. She looked at the poster and then realised what was going on.
"Is that... Willow?" She asks.
"Yes it is, and it's my mother too." I say.
" I'm so sorry Stacey I didn't mean to upset you, I'll take the poster down and..."
"No, leave it there please." I tell her. We all sat there in silence. What was there to say anyway?
I spent the rest of the day just walking around the school. It was so old here but beautiful at the same time. Wait! Did I just say a school was beautiful? I must be mad like the hatter or "ouch!" I yell. I wasn't looking where I was going and paid the price. I was on the ground and a boy had fallen on top of me. His blonde trim made him look like a cool kid. His blue eyes and... NO! Stop. You can't think about how handsome he is! You already have a boyfriend. I tell myself.
The boy got up and gave me a grin. "Hi Stacey." It was Luke. I'm so embarrassed.
"Sorry." I manage.
"It's ok, just watch we're your going next time." He grins once again.
"So how has your first day here been so far?" He asks me.
"Not so good..." I tell him about the poster and everything.
"Well, it nearly six o'clock so we should head to the dining hall for dinner." He says. I agree and we walk to the dining hall together. We talk about horses. It turns out that Luke has many of them himself and his parents own a property as well. We see Georgie, Anna and another girl at a table so we go over to join them.
"This is my roommate Hidi." Georgie says. After all took it for a while and having dinner we all figured out that we were all utterly horse mad! We talked about our own horses. Anna was very interested in Hero. I told them all about how he got his name and everything but I didn't mention Thomas at all. I didn't feel the need to.
After dinner we all walked back to our dorms. Luke's friends joined us as well. They seemed nice also. I was starting to get the impression that all though the school had the name of a canned tuna brand, it was a pretty good school. That was until my first lesson. Maths!
