I grabbed my books from my locker and was immediately greeted by Lugo, popping up out of nowhere, scaring me a little bit.
"So Shae is in town." He informed me.
"Really? Oh it's lit!" I said with a little excitement. I fucks with his cousin heavy.
He chuckled. "Yeah I told him about what's been going on around here and he was about to leave, but I convinced him to stay."
"He's better than me, because I would've been out. Would've thrown up the deuces and all that."
"He always comes through when I need him so I'm not surprised that he's staying."
I closed my locker and we started walking to our class, until someone bumped into me, knocking my books out of my hand.
He quickly turned around to face me and said "Oh my God, I'm so sorry!" He said, looking like he truly meant no harm.
I shook my head to assure him that it's no big deal. "No, it's ok. You're fine..." I told him as I proceeded to collect my books off of the floor.
"Oh you missed one." He said as he grabbed the book and handed it to me.
I smiled. "Thank you!"
"Are you new? I've never seen you before...." Lugo asked him.
Come to think of it, I think this is my first time seeing him too.
"Yeah, I just transferred here a few weeks ago. Actually at the end of September...." he informed us, before telling us his name is "Reece."
Lugo and I smiled as we told him our names.
"Oh I already know you." He told me. "We share last period together."
His name immediately rung a bell and he actually does look familiar now. "Oh wait! Yes, I remember you now! You sit all the way in the back of the class, right?"
"Yup, that's me." He said, getting his Raven on.
"Well it's nice to meet you." Lugo said to him.
"Nice to meet you too." Reece replied with a smile.
"Well we have to get to class, so I guess we'll see you around...." I told Reece.
"Oh for sure!" He replied before we parted ways with him.
"He was cool...." Lugo said.
"Yeah, he's cute too. He can sit with us...." I said as we both laughed.
