"I still cannot believe they got me here working with you." I told Detective Richards, with an attitude.
"Oh get over it Fatsha, I don't wanna be here with you either, but the job has to be done."She said as she walked inside Principal Mackey's office.
I immediately covered my nose as the horrid smell slapped me in the face. "Oh God the smell from the body is still here."
"Oh girl stop complaining, I've smelled worse."
"Like what!?"
"You."
"You know what, you're about to make me fuck you up."
Right after I said that the door to his office slammed shut, startling us.
"What the hell!?" I said, scared as fuck.
"Relax, it was probably just the wind...." she said as she closed the window.
The office door slowly reopened getting Detective Richards and I full attention. After it fully opened with no one in the doorway, we looked at each other as our breathing started to get heavier since we're now extremely scared about what's going on.
The door slammed shut again causing me to be done with this current job we're doing.
"Oh hell no, I'm out of here." I said as I quickly grabbed my gun and made my way to the door.
"I'm right behind you!" Detective Richards said as she caught up to me.
I opened the door and tried to make a run for it, butI'm immediately tackled by what Bren described to me as the killer.
My gun was knocked out my hand and slid away from me. I tried putting up a fight, but the killer started choking me. I peeped Detective Richards take off her shoe before hitting the killer in the head with it.
The killer stopped choking me and I took this opportunity to try and catch my breath. As I tried regaining strength and energy, I saw the killer stab Detective Richards in the head. Her lifeless body dropped to the floor and I screamed in terror before crawling away from the killer and reaching for my gun.
Once I got a hold of my gun and turned back around to face the killer, but the person is nowhere in sight.

I got a knock on the front door, so I went downstairs to open it.
I scoffed. "You got a lot of nerve coming here...."
He sighed. "Can we talk please?"
"You know what, Austin, no, we can't talk. I'm not falling for your apologies anymore because I always end up looking stupid in the end."
"Well I'm gonna apologize anyway, because I really mean it. I'm sorry, Reece. I really am and if I could go back in time and not put my hands on you then I would."
"I don't even understand why you were trippin' over the fact that Bren invited me to y'all table. I already told you I accepted your apology and wasn't gonna try anything sneaky..."
"I just tend to lash out about things I'm not so sure of, sometimes."
"Which isn't good!-"
"I know! Just..." he sighed then finished his sentence by saying "Please accept my apology. I'm really really sorry, Reece...."
I looked at him as I thought about my decision before telling him "I don't know, Austin. How about we just stay away from each other? I just don't think we're gonna work out as friends or even being cordial. You really fucked up...."
He took in my words then nodded his head in understanding. "Aight, I understand...." He said before walking away, getting in his car, and leaving.
Iclosed the door and went back upstairs, in my room.

"Move Tyler!" Bren told me as I tried kissing him.
I chuckled. "Come on, why are you acting like that?"
"You know you're not even supposed to be here...."
"I don't care, Bren. I miss you...."
"That's nice and all, but you know I'm with Austin-"
I sighed and sightly rolled my eyes. "I'm tired of hearing about Austin. Forget about him right now. I want this moment to be about us...."
"I just don't want to ruin anything. I mean, you even being here right now is risky. He could make a random pop up right now and then all hell would break loose."
I sighed and decided to drop it. "Fine." I said as I got off of his bed. "Is your Mom here?"
He looked at me like a just asked a dumb question. "No, she's not here, she's still gone. But you already knew that, didn't you?"
"You don't know that." I said with a laugh.
"Her car isn't here, you don't hear her talking on the phone or watching TV, so what should that tell you?"
I chuckled then made my way to his room door. "I wonder when she'll be back...."
"Yeah, I do too...." I heard him say.
I looked back at him and he has a concerned look on his face while looking a picture of his Mom and him, when he was younger.
I sighed then made my way out of his room and out of the house.
About 10 minutes later I got a text on my phone. I stopped at a red light to open it and as I read it, a smile crept on my face.
I reached for my bookbag to check to see if my black uniform is in there. Once a laid eyes on it, I chuckled then closed my bookbag and got myself mentally ready for my next move.
