Celestine's P.O.V
"Harold, uwi na tayo, gabi na." Were at Jason's house party, and Harold, my boyfriend is already drunk. Well he is known for "The famous handsome guy in school." Nakakainis lang, kasi sobrang daming babaeng nagsasalita behind my back. But I love him though.
"No! Why don't you enjoy the party?" he said. "But you're already drunk, let's get you home." I said. Hinila ko siya palabas at inistart ko na ang kotse. While driving, I've seen his innocent face. He sleeps so peaceful. Sana ganyan nalang siya palagi, I wish he would change to be a better person, A better guy for me.
Nakarating na kami sa bahay nila at nilagay ko ang ang kamay niya sa aking balikat. Ang bigat niya. Nagdoorbell ako, at buti nalang may sumagot agad.
His mom. "Oh Celestine! Salamat sa paghatid sa anak ko ah." She said. "Okay lang po yun tita, lagi naman." But deep down pagod na pagod na ko, I told him not to drink. But he won't listen to me. "Kung sana lang responsable si Harold, na sumunod sa amin, kami ng tatay niya." She said.
"Magbabago rin po siya." Magbabago ka nga ba? Pagkatapos ko magsabi ng goodbye, agad akong umuwi.
Diretso ako sa kwarto at isinalpak ko ang mukha ko sa kama. Usually, When I'm sad, I sing. "Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning, Who's gonna rock you when the sun won't let you sleep, Who's waking up to drive you home, When you're drunk and all alone, Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning, It ain't me."
My voice cracked while singing. My tears flustered rapidly down in my cheeks. My tears won't stop. That's right It ain't me. I always fail. Marami ko nang beses na gustong sabihin na
"I'm breaking up with you, Harold, ayoko na, pagod na ko, Did you really court me, just because to show-off? Do you really love me? Wala nang mapupuntahan tong relasyon natin." Pero di ko magawa.
Sobrang hirap magmove on. I just wished that someday, I will really find the guy who really loves me, A guy who would feel me like I'm special.
