Celestine's P.O.V
Silence fills the car again while Harold is driving. "Why you didn't come on the singing club? You didn't even bother to watch me. or cheer for me." I said. Dapat pumunta ka, because that song was meant for you!
"Okay, well the truth is I forgot it and I didn't come, Besides why don't we go out today? Tutal di nga ako nakapunta, My treat." He says.
"Well, You know what? Since in the first place, you were really not sincere to me, I don't really get you, Cause sometimes you're sweet, sometimes were like strangers, Ano ba talaga ako para sayo Harold?" I ended up blurting it out, dahil hindi ko na mapigilan ang galit ko.
"Kaya nga diba, sabi ko lalabas tayo so that so that I would repay you." he answered. "Di mo pa sinasagot yung tanong ko." I said. "FINE! You want to know the truth? Kaya lang naman kita niligawan, dahil sa isang dare, okay? masaya ka na?" He answered.
WHAT?!?!?!! You're the worst Harold, So all this time our relationship were just fake?!?! You never really cared about my feelings. I ended up not saying anything and I cried rapidly.
"Let's just break up. "I said. I hate this. I can't take it anymore. "Fine. okay then, get out of my car." Harold said. And I exited in the car at umuwi ako kaagad. At agad akong pumunta sa kwarto.
Really?!?!?! Harold?!?!?!?! For the 8 months we've spent together and It was just a freaking dare?!?!? I wish yoy would have said it to me earlier. I really wish I shouldn't met you. I really wish I shouldn't have been accepted your courtship. I am empty and Broken. How will I move forward on this?
Nicholas's P.O.V
How I draw her while she sings. Hindi napapgod ang kamay ko kakadrawing kapag siya ang dinadrawing ko. For the background It looks dull, So I made it like a theater background di ako nagsasawa na tignan siya. I wonder what she's is doing today?
Buti nalang natapos ko agad idrawing. Cause its 7:00, Because I need to go to the school.
Celestine's P.O.V
"You are getting thinner." Emma said. "Did you and Harold fight again?" she asked. "We broke up, at niligawan niya ako dahil lang sa isang dare. " I answered. I did the right choice. Its like, I'm free from those hard chains on my hands. "That's good. Lagi-lagi kong sinasabi sayo na may something talaga dyan kay Harold eh. Na magbrebreak din kayo.
Kasi di naman niya talaga sineryoso yang relationship niyo." Emma said. "It was just freaking dare." I said and my tears won't stop dripping down in my cheeks. "See? Pinagmukha ka lang niyang tanga. If only you'd listen to me earlier." Emma said.
"Oo nga, paano ba magpakalma?" I asked. "Okay ganito, dahil mahirap magmove on, kumain ka ng sweets, at magpapatugtug ka ng broken hearted songs, tapos kumain ka ng mga sweets, Ilabas mo lahat ng galit dyan sa puso mo." Emma said.
And because of Emma, I feel happy again. "Hahaha I really love you Emma. Thanks." I answered.
Nicholas's P.O.V
Naglalakad kami papuntang classroom kasama ni Kurt. Ng biglang makasalubong namin si Celestine kasama ang isang babae. Wait, Should I say hi first? but were even that close, What If she finds me weird? "Hi Nicholas, papunta rin ba kayo ng classroom?" In the middle of my thinking, I didn't think she would greet me. "Uhhhh... Yeah, Sa Math Class, Sabay na tayo?" I ended blurting it out. Okay You've failed Nicholas. Failed. "Yes, Sure." she answered. Yes! I didn't think she would answer yes though.
But I noticed Kurt at yung babaeng kasama ni Celestine, kanina pa sila nagtitigan, and they're blushing together. May hindi sinasabi itong si Kurt sa akin ah.
"Okay, You're assignment is you will make an essay about Romance and explain it in front tomorrow. Dismiss." the English teacher said and exited the room. Romance? Bigla akong napatingin kay Celestine, Maybe I should write about her in the essay? Pero ieexplain bukas eh. Paano kung mapansin niya? Nahuli niya akong nakatingin sa kanya. She smiled.
I like it when she smiles, Its like, the whole world stops because of her charming smile. At papunta siya sa akin. "Uhh... Nicholas, Wouldn't you mind helping me? I mean doon sa Math assignment natin. Nahihirapan kasi akong intindihin kanina yung lesson eh. Okay lang ba sayo?" She says.
I'm not the best tutor, but because Its for you, Of course my love.
"Sure. anong oras ba?" I asked. "Uhh.. ngayon? Pwede bang sa bahay niyo nalang? Mahigpit kasi si papa ko eh." she said. "Sige" I answered.
Nang sumakay kami sa jeep. I noticed na may nunal siya at the back of her neck. What would it be like If I kissed that? Nooo! Stop Nick! You really are a pervert. After 15 minutes, Nakarating na rin kami sa bahay. Nakasalubong namin si Natalie.
"Hi Nicholas!" she greeted pero nagulat siya nung nakita niya si Celestine. "Hi, I'm Celestine, Nicholas's Classmate." Celestine said.
Hi, My name is Natalie, Nicholas's bestfriend." Nat said as they shake hands together.
"oh sige. Maiwan ko na kayo, May pupuntahan pa ako eh. Sige bye." She said at umalis na siya. Hmm..... Something is weird. Usually, makikipagkwentuhan pa sa akin yan, at saka nagiba yung boses niya. Weird.
As we go to the gate. "Arf! Arf!" Oh, that is my dog Scott. "Hi there cutie!" Celestine said as she touched Scott's fur. So she likes dogs. They look cute together. "Uhhh... Celestine tara na." I said. "Oh, haha sure!" she answered.
Nung pumasok kami sa pinto, nakasalubong namin si mom, na may hawak na walis. "Oh Nicholas, Di mo naman sinabi na may bisita ka pala." "Hello po tita." Celestine greeted at nagmano. She said. "Is she your girlfriend? Iha maganda ka. at saka kamukha niya yu-" "Ma hindi, magpapaturo lang po siya sa akin." sabi ko. Muntikan pa akong mapahamak."O siya, maiwan ko muna kayo, maghahanda lang ako ng merienda." sabi ni mom.
"So saan mo gusto tayo magturo?" I asked. "Kahit sa kusina niyo nalang." she answered. Nung pumunta kami sa kusina, nakita ko yung sketchbook, Nandun yung mga drawing ko kaya Celestine. Agad ko itong kinuha. "Uhh...Magbibihis lang ako saglit. Upo ka muna." I said. "Sige." she answered.
Mabilis akong pumasok sa kwarto at sinarado ang pinto. Muntikan na nga akong mahuli dahil kay mama. buti nalang hindi ito nakita ni Celestine. Nung tapos na ako magbihis, pumunta ako sa kusina at naabutan ko si Catherine, my little sister at Celestine na nagtatawanan.
"Nandyan na pala si Kuya, sige alis na ko." sabi ni Cath at nung pumunta siya sa akin at bigla niya akong siniko pasikreto at ngumiti.
I just rolled my eyes of her. "Oh ito Nick, Biscuit at juice." sabi ni mom at nilagpag niya sa lamesa. "Thanks ma." I answered.
After 35 minutes of tutoring. I admit na medyo nahihirapan ako pero, Its Celestine, I had to do it.
"Thank you Nicholas. You make it easier for me to understand. Sige uwi na ko 7:00 na at may assignment pa tayo sa english." she said. "Sige, Hatid na kita sa gate." I said. As we exited in the door. We said goodbye. Nung naglalakad na siya pauwi, She turned her back to me and says, "Friends?" Who was I to let this opportunity?
"Friends." as we shake hands. I can feel my hand brush off in her smooth hands. We said goodbye to each other. And I took a picture of her walking with her hair carried the wind, and with the stars at night. It was the best 35 minutes of my life.
